Awesome Bro

Jason surveys his surroundings. He notices a coffee maker on his work bench in the pits, and wonders how it got there. He looks at his blue and gold #4 Goodyear Tires/Sunoco Fuel Dodge Charger to make sure it isn't damaged. Jason was relieved that it wasn't. He turns to look at Vincent, seeing him there, then turns to Ryan.

"Okay, dude. What the hell was the point of all those gymnastics and light effects? In the time that it took you to do all that, couldn't you have just come up to me and said 'Hi!', like normal people do? That was a tre-u-mendous waste of resources, and I don't like it when the lights go out around here, as it becomes pitch black. It feels like I'm inside my garage when that happens. And it's scary." Jason says, somewhat winded from talking so much. Jason, not wanting Ryan to respond, continues talking.

"But, alright. I'll give you credit. That took alot of balls, so I'll accept you onto my team. Let's go to the briefing room. I'll take you in my racecar, the only good car you've probably ever been in. There's no seats other than mine, so you and Vince will have to sit on the edge of the other window. Let's go." Jason says, climbing into his racecar and turning it on.

Ryan folded his arms and glanced around at the various trophies and cabinets and didnt really pay that much attention to what Jason was saying about the lights and such.

"Who gives a care if you are scared of the dark?" he thought to himself, wondering as he did why he was working for someone like that.

"I like making an entrance" said Ryan eventually, straightening his rifle on his back as he said that.

"It also took about 5 minutes to rig your power grid from your entire house to this" holding up the little remote.

"I also found this hooked to your Video Security System" continued Ryan, tossing a small black box with several wires sticking out of it. "I have seen those before. They allow remote access to any of your security systems, and are used to Hi-jack your system. It sounds like someone has it in for you."

Vincent ignored the two other men as they talked. He was more concerned about this stranger's entrance.

I should have known he was here, Vincent thought angrily. I should have known he was coming.

Vincent noticed movement from the two men, and snapped back to his surroundings. Jason was standing before his car, and Ryan was holding up a black box with wires protruding from the edges.

"Hmph. How far is this briefing room. I think I may just want to walk." Vincent said.

Jason catches the black box in his hand.

"Yeah, we've known for some time that we've been watched. We always find those on our security cameras. They're untraceable, so we don't worry about them. Although..." Jason says, inspecting the black box and noticing a small symbol on it, "...this one is new. It has a symbol of sorts on it. I'm going to give it to our TAR(Tech and Research) team. Damn. I wanted to shoot something." Jason finishes, dejected. He puts it on the dashboard of his car, next to a beat-up miniature Dale Earnhardt Bobble-head glued to the dashboard. He then restarts his racecar.

"Vince, it's about a mile walk. Just sit on the rear of the car, where the fuel cell is. I won't go too fast, and if you're smart and I'm not drunk(I'm not too sure on this), you won't die." Jason continues. "Now let's go. Vince, you're on the back left. Ryan, on the back right."

"Umm... sure, I guess..." said Ryan, looking doubtfully at the car.
"Why do you drive such a car normally around your estate? That is a waste of resources."
Securing several things on his belt, he walked over to the back of the car and climbed on, holding on to the back crossbar.

Vincent followed Ryan, dropping his cigarette to the ground and stepping on it. (OOC: I keep thinking I already did this, but I checked and didn't see where...)

Vincent pulled the lighter out again and lit another cigarette. He took a long draw and slid onto the car.

"Well," Vincent said, cigarette hanging loose in his mouth, "this will be very interesting."

OOC: You did it when your character introduced himself to Jason.

"I like wasting resources." Jason says.

One of Jason's pit-crew members comes up with a tow cable and hooks it on one side of the car, where the other two were sitting. He then brings it around, putting it accross the laps of Ryan and Vince, and secures it on the other side. He looks at the two sitting on the back, then laughs to himself. Jason leans out the window.

"Hold on." He says, with a sadistic smile.

Jason turns the car back on, then revs up the engine. He continues revving it up, putting it into fourth gear, all the while the engine making tons of noise. He quickly puts the gear back in first, and slowly drives up to the mansion. When they arrive at the front doors to the mansion, Jason climbs out of the car with a big grin on his face.

"Fooled ya', huh?" He says, with a wink. "Follow me." He continues, walking through the big double doors. He(with the others presumably following him) walks through the great hall, with people scrambling about(His other team, which is getting ready for a mission related to this one). Four halls lead off to the left and right. Jason takes the back left one, up some flights of stairs, and into another hallway. This one he takes all the way to the end, passing the three other hallways, into the briefing room. It has a decently long table with soft, leather chairs around it. It also has a coffee maker.

"Welcome to the briefing room. Coffee is over there." Jason says.

OOC: That sounds a little weird, (the others presumably following...)
I can see that you are trying not to godmodd though ^_^
You could probabley use something like "Jason Led the way into the house..."

But no matter ^_^ just a suggestion.
-------------------
Entering the room, Ryan has a quick look around before sitting down at the table. He declined the offer of coffee, but asked if there was any sports drinks. "That coffee stuff is bad for the health" he said in response to the looks the others gave him.

"So, what are we doing here anyways?" said Ryan, looking up at Jason, "and is this all of us?"

Vincent followed Jason, looking carefully at every other person, the walls, and the objects throughout; there was little to be suspicious of, but Vincent knew better than to let his guard down, especially after the arrival of Ryan.

As they entered a room with a long table and chairs, Jason pointed out the coffee. Vincent walked past the other two and grabbed a cup, pulling out a small device from his pocket and dipping it into the coffee pot. It beeped once, and Vincent pulled it out, wiping it clean and placing it back in his pocket. Vincent poured some coffee in his cup and turned to face Jason.

"Yes," Vincent said quickly after hearing Ryan. "Why are we here?"

OOC: Here are the maps, and some pics for each of the locations. Get 'em while they're got.

"Well..." Jason says, going over to a shelf and grabbing himself a bottle of Vodka. He takes a swig from the bottle, then turns on a Sony Bravia at the end of the room. He then puts a DVD into a DVD-Player built-into the wall, and all sorts of data, maps, and other things appear on the screen.

"Okay, as you may be aware, you have been summoned here for a mission that me and my team need assistance on. Let's go over the details," Jason says. He takes out a pointer, and points it at the screen.

"Alright. The mission back story is this: there is a terrorist cell who has a front as a software, computer hardware, and car production company called Blue Shift Industries." He says, touching the screen with the pointer(It's a touch-screen). The screen changes to several images of their products, including a World of Warcraft-ripoff, and a clear rip-off of the Dodge Challenger.

"Now, as with most weird terrorist cells with far too much money than realistically possible, we recently became aware, thanks in no small part to an American Contracts Spy that has infiltrated their organization, that they have been conducting research that would be outside the norm for their company, to the point of it being considered 'Secret' research. Now, when I say secret, I don't mean secret as in 'lol dun tell no 1 k?', I mean secret as in 'If you so much as mention this, even while intoxicated, we are going to execute you and your whole family'. Following me?" Jason says.

"Now, the basic mission synopsis is as follows: My other team will take targets in Montenegro, Paris, London, and the Pacific Islands. We are going to take targets a little more abroad. The order you see the maps in is the order we go to the locations." Jason continues. He touches the screen again, and the screen zooms in on one of the maps. Jason takes another swig of Vodka.

"This is Vladivostok, Russia. Their stake here is a tech-research building disguised as a chemical plant. It is somewhat important, but it makes a good starting point for uncovering their dastardly deeds," Jason continues. "We will be staying there for about three days, so I will get us three a room in the lovely Hotel Hyundai, one of my favorite Russian hotels. It has great meeting rooms, a bar to get wasted in, and a fine restaurant that will make us look like a bunch of jackasses if we're seen in it." Jason finishes.

"So, I know you must have questions by now. So, now you have five minutes to ask me a question or two. Green flag, go!" Jason says with a laugh.

Vincent looked at the maps on the screen, then took a long sip from his coffee. When he finally finished, he set the cup on the table and sat down in a chair.

"I must go home to retrieve some things, but I should only be gone for a day." Vincent said.

"How far is the hotel we are staying at from the chemical plant?" asked Ryan, looking again at the map on the wall.

"And what exactly is our plan of action?" he said, turning to face Jason, "I can leave for the place immediately, No---" He held up his hands, for Jason was about to say something, "I can get there much faster on my own, and I would like to watch them for a time."

He continued, "I would like to know what you propose to do as well as anything you got on them and their operation. I have all of my equipment stored just outside the perimeter of your estate, and will leave as soon as possible."

OOC: TOKYO HO!

A rough representation of the base. I might label it:

http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/1951/ub1wr5.jpg
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I've already scouted and watched them. Nothing worth noting, just a bunch of guards. But guys, the briefing isn't over. Vladivostok is area one. I have three more areas to brief you on." Jason says, touching the screen with his pointer. Another map appears, with more data. He takes a third swig of Vodka and puts it back on the shelf.

"Now, this is Tokyo, Japan, as it were. The goal here is a little more complicated. Now, this collective of lamers have their hand in every criminal organization around the world, with the exception of the LA gangs. Their main partner is, you guessed it, the Yakuza and the Yakuza's over-sized tattoos. Their joint-base is, to the best of our knowledge, partially underground. That makes it somewhat inconspicuous, therefor it's a good place to hide their confidential items, like weapons, research, prisoners, pornography, etc. The goal is to find out how to get into this base that is reminiscent of the Antlion caves in Half-Life 2: Episode Two, steal whatever research we can, and then destroy the base." Jason continues.

"Now, I have a contact in Tokyo. He's a Canada-native who recently moved to Tokyo to assist his brother in running their shipment and research company, Emerson Research/Shipping Kontracts. They use 'K' instead of 'C' because they are not cool, but are attempting to be." Jason continues. "But we'll get into that later. For now, any questions pertaining to this area?" Jason asks.

"Umm yeah" said Ryan, after sitting back in his chair.

Where are we actually going to go first? There are 3 places... which one first?

Vincent waited to here Jason's response to Ryan's question.

OOC: I wanted to ask why Jason compares a mission area
to a place in a Video Game, but it felt like a weak post, so I'll just wait for Ryan's response.

This would be a good time for your character to do whatever they want, within the limits of the rules. Go crazy. Have flashbacks, enemy contact, discoveries, etc. Keep it within the rules, though. And don't mess with the Estate or any of my other characters. I have plans for them.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jason takes a hard look at Ryan.

"We'll get to that later." Jason says. He walks over to the coffee maker and gets himself a cup of coffee.

"The process for finding this base of sorts in Crazy Tokyo should be relatively simple. We're going to arrive at the We're going to see my contact to get some new gear of theirs. They call it, to keep it simple, the Tracking, Research, and Exploration Gear Version 60/25. I was called in on a consultation when they first designed it. It's hard to use at first, but we'll begin to like it more as we adjust to it. We'll get the equipment when we get to Tokyo." Jason continues. "Then we'll hit up the 49th floor of the Roppongi Tower in the lovely Roppongi Hills. We'll wing it then." Jason finishes. He tae

"It seems to me that I spent awhile talking, and I'm tired as fuck right now. I'll finish the briefing on the plane to our first location, Vladivostok. My homies will take you to your rooms. This would be a good time to sleep, get ready, post on forums(Try rmvx.org), go get stuff, etc. If you do decide to go out, be back by 10:00AM. We leave for Vladivostok at noon. Good night. In the morning, you'll meet a friend of mine. His name is Mr. Hangover." Jason says, stumbling somewhat while walking out of the briefing room. Two more people walk in: One is a 6'11", 350lbs man wearing black jeans and a vest. He introduces himself as Neil Kellar. The other is smaller, wearing a Hawaiian shirt, and blue jeans. His name tag says "Chris King".

"Hey. Jason sent us to take you to your rooms. He also said that if he's woken up before 9:00am, there's a good chance that he'll kill someone in anger. Follow me Ryan. Vince, you follow Chris." Jack Kellar finishes.

OOC: YOU JUST USED KRAFT'S NAME. #

Vincent followed the shorter guy out into the hall. Vincent didn't know if the man ever tried to say anything to him; he was thinking of their destination, and of the maps he had been shown. This job was unlike any other. Usually he just had to get in, kill someone, and get out. No effort. No risk. Vincent liked to have fun with his victims sometimes, but usually stayed faithful to the contract he was pursuing.

This time, however, Vincent would be facing more people, and he was apart of a team. Well, Vincent thought, not exactly a team; more like a group, with no real connections or allegiances. Just a group.

Vincent noticed that he and the short man had stopped walking, and entered the door the man motioned to. Vincent shut the door behind him, moved over to the closet door across the room, and entered it quickly. He sat against the side of the closet, and closed his eyes; Vincent always slept in closets, small rooms, even bath tubs and trash cans. He like small spaces with few entrances. He liked control. This is how he always was, even back at the orphanage in France. The nuns could never figure out this strange obsession with closed in spaces, but they had more to worry about when it came to Vincent and his strange ways, like the way he used to pray to the kitchen staff for bringing him food instead of the Lord, and how he behaved in public when they forced him to ware anything that was too light. There were many things like this that made Vincent an oddity to watch carefully. It was his odd ways, which later made him dangerous, that made the nun responsible for him (for the nuns had taken turns at this point to keep him out of trouble) give him the nickname Vincent d'Enfer (Vincent, of Hell), her way of calling him a creature not Monster or Demon, but simply a Hell borne monster.

Vincent smiled weakly as we began to dream of the days he spent chasing the nuns around with a fork the new cook had given him one year when he was still young. The good ol' days, Vincent thought merrily.

Ryan followed the man out into the hall, and to his room. It was quite a walk through the mansion, but eventually the reached his room.

The room was spacious enough, not the nicest Ryan had seen, but was adequate. There was one bed, and a private bathroom, as well as a large TV set in one corner. There was a large Sliding door that went out onto a baucany several floors above the ground.

Stopping for a minute, Ryan wrote a short letter to Jason telling him that he would meet them at the Roppongi Tower the next day.

Leaving the note on the bed, he took a small cord from his belt, and attached it to the railing outside. Without a backward glance, Ryan dove headfirst over the railing, and freefell, stopping several feet from the ground. After gaining his footing, he pressed a small switch on the rappelling cord, and the top disattached from the building. It was reeled into the device, which was then returned to his belt.

It was a short jog from the building to the border fence, and a short climb later, he found where he had hid his gear.

The gear consisted of a large roadbike, matte black with orange highlights. Next to the bike was his pack, carefully hidden in the brush around the base of a large tree. After checking to make sure that his other Assault rifle, his personal computer and his various other gadgets were still there, he stowed them in a compartment on the sides and back of the roadbike. Taking his pistol out of its holster, he placed it in a holster on the bike, where it could be easily reached from the controls.

He started the bike, and wheeled it up onto the road. Looking back at the house, he could see a few lights come on, and a security car coming towards where he was.

Smiling, he turned the bike and revved it as loud as it could go before tearing off towards the nearest town.

OOC: This post assumes Ryan has a Cell Phone in addition to other gear. PM Me if I'm wrong, and I will edit.

Jason is getting ready to sleep, having read a book and watched an episode of Scrubs. He turns off the light, and falls asleep quickly. Fifteen minutes later, he gets a call on his phone, which makes him livid. He angrily picks up the phone, and answers it.

"Who the fuck is calling this late at night?! Don't you know that Loco(He's referring to himself in third person) needs plenty of sleep to shake 'em, and bake 'em?!" He shouts.

"Dude, it's Jack. Ryan took off apparently. Riot(Chris) and I were driving down the road in our security Dodge Intrepid when we saw him take off. Riot found a note on the bed saying that he was going to meet us at the Roppongi Tower tomorrow." He says.

"That kid doesn't listen. I specifically said that we were going to Vladivostok at noon. I never said that we were going to the Roppongi Tower. My contact isn't ready. Damn it. Now I want to hang myself with a leather belt." Says Jason.

"You say that all the time." Jack says with a laugh.

"And I always do it." Chuckles Jason. He calms down somewhat. "Alright, I'll try to get in contact with him. I know I've got a Cell Number or something. Try calling Vince and appraise him of the situation." Jason says. He hangs up, then looks through a stack of papers. He finds a number that seems to be Ryan's, and dials it.

"9-0-3 5-7-6-8." He says to himself while dialing.

Meanwhile, Jack takes out his Cell Phone and dials the number to the room Vince is staying in, which is 362-4368.

Ryan was back in his extensive garage, filling several syringe-darts with a sleeping agent when the phone in his pocket started vibrating. He let it ring for a minute, if it was important, the caller wouldn't hang up for a while.
A minute later, he set down the finished darts, wiped his hands on a towel and retrieved the phone from his pocket. Looking at the caller ID he say that it was Jason. Wondering if he really wanted to talk to Jason, and already knowing what he was going to say, he opened the phone and set it to speakerphone. He then set it down on the table and picked up another dart to fill while he was talking.

"Yeah" he said.
