I thought I mentioned it before, but I obviously didn't so I'll say it now.
The demo has files included that aren't necessary.

- Lots of screenshots of the GBA games, probably used initially for ripping graphics and reference by the creator.
- The roms of the games themselves.

What are the rules about roms on this forum?

Hum, if he ows the game it's completly Legal, so if you don't own the game you are the one in trouble. Although I don't think he made that on purpose as you said, he probably used them for reference.

Note: If I am not mistaken, you can keep a rom for 24 hours if you don't own the game.
