Ok, so I decided to split the big map into 6 or 9 maps.
Here's 3 of 6 or 9 lol....

The Dead Lands area....
Up-Date!Probably getting close to the end of this, I hope.


Going with Semper Tyranosaurus suggestion and lets see how this works. Thanks for the great idea Tranosaurus, let me know if you think something else would look nicer ( like broken barrels I just have to explain how they got there too and their purpose now).

I second that. I mean, it doesn't make any sense at all. You may argue, but it is sense that holds maps together. That's what mapping is about, all the tiles fitting together in a logical order. Maybe one? And make them broken. No-one is there to service barrels in the desert.

Maybe it's not if I have counted them or not... Maybe It's I havn't decided if I'm going to just make 6 maps or 9.

Since people are used to seeing chests at random, it doesn't affect people, but with barrels, it's something that you really only expect in a town.

It's also not very becoming to be so offensive, seeing "goddamn wasteland" wasn't the best ways to ask things, I personaly don't like seeing those two words put together like that.

Anyway, there's a difference between treasure chests, and barrels.
Since people are used to seeing chests at random, it doesn't affect people, but with barrels, it's something that you really only expect in a town.

Just because people arn't use to seeing things doesn't mean much, funny I saw a map of a desert that had grass growing from the sand and I may have wanted to ask "why?" but I just figure " It's a game.... It's his style I won't question it"

Did you watch the video?.....Luminier... did you?
Do vases seem to make more sense? Did you you know they sit there and do nothing?

The barrels won't be giving you items. Maybe one or two if you check them just for hidden fun.
And just for you guys..... I'll put an elefant in one of them just so you can question that too.
 
Damn but you're a defensive little thing.  ;D And I'm not gonna watch some douche with an awkward voice record himself fighting pumpkins on a webcam for five minutes and accept that as an explanation. Why are the barrels there, and why are there so many of them? I see no events on them, so I doubt they function as containers.
 
If you're going to make a small snide remark or completely ignore what we're saying, why is this posted in Resource Analysis? We should make a forum for this... Submitted Resources. Because this guy clearly posts in here just so we can say "Wow! Thats fantastic! I wish I was as good as you!".

EDIT: No, its in the General Support forum. Even worse.

Funny trainspotter,Venetia,apzrman,Achantion (calling it basic),Brewmeister,and xgamexfreakx were all able to say what they didn't like without being rude and they sound like they want to help. However... you guys havn't made a single helpful idea of what you'd like to see in place of those barrals. You insulted and that was it.

How about sounding like you want to help. Why don't you give some of your advice?
I'd love to here what you'd have to offer.

I don't really know what this is, then. And I've also added my reasoning behind the fact that they shouldn't be there. But, you know. I guess you don't need help anyways considering you're just going to contradict me.

The camp fire spot I was thinking of making a place where you can stay the night and rest HP/MP.
Some what like an inn (only free and less effective)

Whats your thoughts on that?

Edit: I just noticed I posted the same picture of map 2 that will be fixed in a sec.
also think I should just make it one camp fire spot for the last map or second map, for more useful-ness? (if that's even a word...)

I normaly do events last. I made the Entrance and Exit events so I could go all the way though the three maps as you normaly would to check for possibility glitches and priority glitches in one run though.

And that leads me to another thing.....
Why is this happening?

It seem's to happen near some of the bigger trees... It is kind of a pain.
Do I have to make an event to keep him from moving pass those spots? (there's only like 3 spots like that) Or Fix something in how I place it so I don't grab like that passible block part? Or can I fix it in the database?
