hey i have a question about blizzards party switching script

ok i dont get how i would do this
ok i want to know how to do it so theres no one in the party switcher at the start, but at a certain point someone becomes avaible in the party switcher for example
joe,jake,fred and bob wanna go save the world. but then they find mike and he goes into the party switching menu. So the player can go to the menu and switch mike for some one.
