recently, my computer just crashed. I had to use my system restore disks on the computer to start it up. ALL of my files where gone... whipped straight off the earth. does anyone know how i'd be able to get these files?

System Restore restores your computer to the last known date that everything worked. So simply...if you want to get your files back, restore it back to its previous settings (before you ran system restore the first time), backup the files you wish to keep...restore it back to an earlier setting again...get the files.
