Can a value be placed on a human life?

I would save the human first, always. If there was time I would go in for some animals second. Human life should always bee valued higher than an animal. And no human life should be taken to save another human life (refrenceing abortion)

I dont see why human life should always be valued higher. We have the ability to choose our own destiny and from my standpoint that means, depending on the human, we can be the greatest asset to the world or the very very worste and if you're the worste, your life isnt worth anything. In fact, its worth throwing a few good lives away just to kill the especially bad ones off. Between hitler and a biting puppy, I choose the puppy every time. Sorry humanlovers.

I think the scene is very illogical. You wouldn't notice a fire taking MOST OF THE ENTIRE BUILDING until the last moment? Hah. Also; if a water tank falls-wouldn't the shattering glass make noise?
