This is the last topic today, I swear. XD

Anyway, I hope someone here has a bit of knowledge on astrology, because I have a small question about it:

The distance between the sun and the earth is 149 600 000 km. The sun surface is 6 090 000 000 000 km². If a sun would be 59 096 905 615 km², would a planet 300 276 258 kms away be suited for life? The planet's surface is 2 468 020 km². The earth is 510 065 600 km². That other planet is smaller than earth, but in comparison their sun is larger, so the distance should be larger too, right?

in our universe there is only a thin band that can support life, which earth happens to be on. its not just the distance that makes it suttable for life, its many other things. including planets, gravitational pull, carbon levels, etc.

Distance from the sun isn't the only factor that determines whether or not a planet can support life.
Example: Gravity.
A planets gravity must be strong enough to attract/hold particles/atoms to form an atmosphere. If the planets gravity is too weak, it can't hold the atoms (ex: the moon). I think thats it....Its been a while since I took astronomy classes.

Anyway, if the planet is smaller than the earth, chances are it doesn't have the gravitational pull to form an atmosphere, thus making it impossible to support life as we know.

Well you see, when jupiter alligns with saturn and on the opposite side of the system Neptune and Uranus aligning and 90 degrees clockwise earth and mars align then on the polar end of that mercury and venus align, the center of the zodiac is revealed and Es the god of rings descends back to Gaia to rule for 10,00 years bringing in the age of Amm. That wont be for another 3022 years though. Even though some people claim it'll happen in 2022, THOSE GUYS ARE JUST CRACKPOTS. Trust me, you need not heed the god of rings until 30 fornights and an eon twain.

Also, nice catch on the astrology vs. astronomy thing mr. Hobo Beater. Now that I've made an almost spam post, I'd like to sum up with I don't know anything about astronomy. Every time I've been taught it, the teacher sucked so bad that she couldn't convey any sense of understanding on anyone. (damn you 7th/10th grade!)
