Heh, I'll test this, only to see what the output code looks like, I prefer to code all of my windows :P

yeah, I find coding easier.

Good work though :D

...I don't think you people(scripters) understand why I made this. Its not so that you don't code, trust me, there is alot left to code. Its so you can design the shape and position of the window and genereate the code. BAM, 1 minute, no error, no bugs, code generated. No need to test every minute to see if you got the position or shape right, or the opacity, or the alignment, or the contents. ITs a visual, mouse controlled, easy system.

The code generated is in highest persformance and easy to aliase with too, it follows the SDK rule ;).

Anyways;

I ran in to a bit trouble while making the selectable text(actor.name, and ect.), so i'm skipping it until I get some help in RGSS Support.

Instead I'll work on;
- Actor CharSet - Party, Database
- Actor Battler - Party, Database

and after those, the background and then save.

I also decided to add a Help Window, so it shows what commands do when you select a command. Esier then writing a helpfile lol.

and thanks everyone for the feedback.

No, we understand. We just prefer to do it the old-fashioned way. :P Like those that prefer making their HTML in Textpad rather than Dreamweaver.

Honestly, I prefer making my windows from scratch, too. I never cared much for VB or HTML WYSIWYG editors. But this is a big step for beginning and less masochistic scripters. Too bad it uses SDK.

XD, ok.

?. The Framework doesn't.

Update:
Added Actor Character Set
Added Actor Battler

you are able to choose, party or database.

::Update::

The new version is out. It has a help window to guide you. Save and Background also works.

Loading works same as making a new scene. You must type in the the name of the file you are loading, in order to load.

I fixed some minor bugs too. Well, that should do for now.

THis is realy cool! I might use it just because I hate putting the windows and the text the way I want it to be! Great job!

yeah thanx, I'm giving a break on this and working on Despain's CBS. It has everything you need right now,but the extras will bne a nice addition when I get around to them.

Updated the feature list.

Let me know what this is missing. I will try to make it a CMS maker as well as a Scene&Window Wizard :)

hmm, you should be able to do that with Visual Data/Table Editor :), once I finish it. Its basicly like event scripting :) but I believe once it is learned it will be even esier. I might even release a stand alone version of it for low level scripting :).

Hey, I just found a bug! Its a veryunimortant one, but if you press ALT+ENTER to go full screen, the program freezes!

Full screen script? Isnt ALT+ENTER a built-in command in RMXP?

Oh, i agree with Myonosken... Like for example when you press the B button, the windows of the Menu scene "drifts" into the screen.. THink of Legacy's
1-scene fully animated CMS...

Oh, and is it possible to have the current map the background?(lower opacity windows)
But i will definitely use this! CHeers to all! (but also learn ruby so that we can learn to edit or modify the generated script!) ^_^

Yes, you can show the map as the background. You can lower the opacity of the windows as well.

I'm using a Resolution fix script by Squall(Swelyn or w/e).

The resolution will be bigger on the next version, for the User Interface.

Yes, Selwyn's script had issues with fullscreen. It would be best if you disabled the fullscreen option, Mr. Mo.

This is very useful and I hope you keep developing it. :)

Several things I've run into:

-- In the [Content]Framework script, line 581 currently overwrites any custom text you make in the wizard with the default "text"+id text. I changed that line to @text = text, and that seemed to fix it.

-- Window opacity settings that you assign in the wizard are not passed into the generated code.

-- Although I can save scenes in the wizard, anytime I try to load a previously saved one (naming it correctly) I get this error: "Script '[Main]Scene_MakeScene1' line 41: NoMethodError occured. undefined method 'z=' for nil:NilClass"

thanks, I'll get on them right away.

Edit:

I uploaded the new files, I think I fixed the bugs too, if you have anymore bugs let me know.

Odd... .. .. . I downloaded it before, lost it, and re-downloaded. and now the INSTANT the maker launches.. it crashes.. no error or anything

Closed at Topic Creators Request, Mr. Mo will not be supporting this anymore, so create a thread in RGSS Support if you have any questions regarding this.
