Grammer can really bug someone, and can sometimes be really bad of you get just one letter off. I'd like to see a grammer sweeper correct the grammer of words, like the squiggly, red line that comes up in word, not the green line, because it might be wrong... Scratch that idea, I say that there should be a translator box so there can be more members that don't need to speak english... I really don't know but everything seems to be just fine the way it is...

While might not be possible ourselves Firefox and most modern browsers have plugins for grammar checks.

Post counts are cool but as shown at rmvxp it will start a few "heated debates" as people begin to take it very serious. As far as the gender thing, I think it would be a good idea to know who is who because it would effect the way I would address certain people IMO.

Also I would have figured you to be a female as well, because of the avatar and the fact that your name is candle? (candle sounds like a female skripper).

2. In my browsers, the Go button for adding an image is cut off half-way.

And what about user submitted themes? The admin could give the base images/css or whatnot to the userbase, and then they could make their own themes - the factor of adding each individual one to the forum theme dropdown might be a pain, though.
You'd keep the quick access theme changer on the left the same, except add one that says "User Submitted," and then it'd link off to a page with all the themes. (links)

Instead of user submitted themes, what about a proboards style configurable theme?

I.e. it's aqua, but you can choose to enter any url for each of the images in your profile and they get displayed. Could have a forum or just a thread for posting your theme combos.

That's a good idea - certainly more organized than mine...
Having the forum combos in CSS would be better than inserting a link for every single text box, like in proboards.
Then, in CSS you could also mess with the forum colours or such...

But I'm not sure if phpBB uses CSS, and I have no experience with php.

What about a bookmarking system for threads. This would be used if for instance you find an old thread that you found after like hours of searching and currently the only way to get to that thread easily and quickly would be to necropost. I know you can just add the thread to your bookmarks bar, but that is on one computer only. The forum bookmarking would be linked to the account and thus would be accessible on any computer.

I'd like to see the search function reinstated on all pages of all themes. It makes it more difficult to find if it's only on the forum index. Well, the advanced search function, at any rate. (Just scrolled down and found it at the bottom, where I wasn't expecting it, but without advanced search)
