The Stepmania Thread

Yes. On the stepmania website, just go to Themes and download Projekt Blue, it's right at the top.

EDIT: Umm, does anyone here have the smzip of Emerald Sword. I want to play it so bad, but I can't find it. T_T

EDIT2: Yay, I found it. Scratch that.

EDIT3: Holy fuck this is hard.

:) Keep at it and you'll get better.
Those stepmeter levels don't look too high. But whatever, you'll get the hang of the REALLY hard songs sooner or later. And you have nomines on, that's cheating. XD

There's my latest video on a song called Voltage. The sound's messed up, but that's Hypercam for ya.

I just got an A on it, so that video's kinda out of date now. :P

Am I restricted to playing only these songs? Cause I wanna put my Orange Range songs and maybe songs from the Katamari soundtrack into it.

Go to Start -> Programs -> Stepmania -> Stepmania Tools and Package Exporter

Now hit Create a song at the bottom of the window and enter the mp3 you want . Then open Stepmania, go to Edit/Synchronize songs. Go to the "My Creations" catagory and select your song, a difficulty you want to compose in, and there you go. It takes a loooong time to figure the controls out though.

Remember that arrows=change beat
f7,f8=change bpm
f11,12=change song starting point
1-4=arrows
esc=main menu
enter=edit menu

You should be able to figure it out from there.

Like I said, use F7 and F8 to change the bpm at any measure you choose, so at the first line, hold down F8 and you'll see the number go up. Just get it so it matches the tempo of your song.

It's because I'm too lazy to turn it off... And my theme doesn't have the ability to turn it off... The song I played doesn't even have mines...

im going to work on my own little vid... ill codec it in HK29 Codecer ill use Fraps tho.... lol now WHAT song is the questiong... its a battle between Quasar... Torin, Tainted Lovers, or Tight Wad....

Wow, I've never felt so untalented in my life... I just redownloaded Stepmania on my grandma's PC and I tried Unholy Confessions by Avenged Sevenfold (Heavy's the only setting...) and got only half-way through before failing... >.< If only my numpad would work, maybe it might be a little easier...

EDIT: OMG, I am so freaking pissed off now. I went back to try the same song again and I went through the entire thing, but I missed the very last note and failed. Now I'm going to have to try it over and over again for the next five hours until I get it perfect. >.<

hey um a few questions...... um..
1---whats the upload max limit on youtube
2---do i have to be registered?
3---do i have to subscribe?(pay cash)
4---is there a better solution if #3 is a yes?

Edit: Nevermind, its free... sweet....

Edit: well nvm at this! im going to make LOTS of videos! i found out a way to keep quality high, and have sweet low file size! YAY FOR VIRTUAL DUB!

Yeah, youtube's the only good (free) video hosting site I can think of...

And I finally got through Unholy Confessions:

Far from perfect, but I got it done. Besides, I'm kinda tired now, so I won't be able to perfect it quite yet... that's for tomorrow! If I don't sleep in too late...
Oh, and that was the first time I finished a Heavy song completely by myself, so yay for me!
