The Legends of Zelda: Chronological Order and Connections
BI= Before The Imprisoning War
DI= During The Imprisoning War
AI= After The Imprisoning War
AH= Alternate Hyrule
(Note: It is obvious that Ocarina of Time had two split timelines, one that takes place after Link's adult life and one after his child life. The timeline after his child life, however, is the actual Hyrule life of his. His adult life ended when he went back, but because Ganondorf was placed into the Evil Realm at the end of Ocarina of Time in Link's Adult timeline that timeline now has a story as well. If you are one that understands time travel, you know that the future is never written and that you can alter anything in the future by events placed in the past. Because Link travels back as a child at the end of Ocarina of Time, his child life is the real timeline and the adult life is an alternate storyline. So for the key printed above AH standing for Alternate Hyrule indicates that that section of this storyline takes place after the adult timeline, and anything printed with AI takes place after his child timeline. The timeline that you will read first will take place before Ocarina of Time then you will see all of the timeline with AI dates. When those are finished, the AH dates will be shown next. Note that also reading this may spoil some events in the games, so if you do not want the games storylines spoiled turn back now. Otherwise, enjoy.)
2000 BI Creation
Before, in fact, the existence of the world itself. Had words existed during that age, they would be unable to describe the magnitude of the vast pool of nothingness that occupied the physical world at the beginning of time. It was at the precise moment that this expansive pool of space looked at itself and wondered, "What am I?" that three goddesses arrived to provide an answer to this unspoken question posed by Emptiness. Din, Goddess of Power, Nayru, Goddess of Wisdom, and Farore, Goddess of Courage spoke in unison saying "You were naught." The pause that followed would have witnessed the birth and death of countless mortal generations, were there mortals available to live and die. Just as Emptiness exhaled a universal sigh in protest of the puzzling nature of the goddess's statement, the three deities raised their palms above their beautiful faces and stated together "You were naught. Now you are." The goddesses joined hands, and through the power of an ancient magic they shaped the globe which would be the ultimate stage for a grand variety of drama, comedy and tragedy. Din filled the globe with water, stone, air and fire; Nayru sprinkled the newborn landscape with plants and animals, while Farore planted the seeds which would grow into intelligence, consciousness and magic. When their work was complete, Emptiness had fled away with great fear. Though the goddesses were surprised at the strange sensation of fatigue which filled their spirits, they felt the need to continue their work by creating a token to serve as a symbol of their holy bond with the new world. Each goddess forged her own contribution to the magical talisman: Din offered the Triforce of Power, Nayru contributed the Triforce of Wisdom, and Farore presented the Triforce of Courage. Combined, the three pieces formed the ultimate sacred Triforce. The ground where the Triforce stood instantly became holy territory in the fresh minds of the inhabitants of this new world. This Sacred Realm became known as the Golden Land.
As Emptiness ran farther and farther away, the free-spirited souls which wandered this new land of High Rule eventually settled down, learned to farm, and formed the Kingdom of Hyrule. The three goddesses never strayed too far from this new world they created, and the people of Hyrule worshipped them respectfully.
When Hyrule was created by the three goddesses at the beginning of time, there were certain side effects of its creation which Din, Nayru and Farore did not anticipate. As the three holy women breathed life into the world and chased away Emptiness, their potent breath slipped through tiny cracks in the folds of space and created millions of alternate worlds in the process. Just then a fourth goddess appeared out of nowhere. Din, Nayru, and Forore did not know of her. She didn't help with the construction of Hyrule. The fourth goddess then created her own piece of the Triforce, the Triforce of Time. She then placed it into the Sacred Realm with the Triforce to make it become solid triangle.
After it was complete, the entire world was known as Hyrule and the major Kingdom was named after the planet.
1970 BI
The races of Hyrule named themselves: Hylian, Gerudo, Goron, Zora, Skeikah, Kokiri, Zuna, Subrosian, Rito, Korok, Oocca, Twili, and the Minish. They all kept to themselves and lived in separate sectors of Hyrule. They all kept to themselves except the Gerudos, who marries Hylian men to keep the race going, and once every 100 years a man was born of Gerudos. The Subrosians moved underground, the Kokiri and the Korok planted a tree in which they were to call their leader. The Hylians, Zoras, and Gorons all chose families to become their new leader. The Sheikah thought it was foolish to have a single ruler, so they stayed without one and governed themselves according to their consciences. The Gerudos moved to a near-by desert along with the hidden Zuna tribe, which stationed themselves at any oasis in the desert. The Kokiri lived in a forest, when the Zoras found a magic fountain to where they would reside. The Minish were very small and would only appear to outsider (every other race) every one-hundred years. The Gorons took great liking to the mountain in the north, and the Wind Tribe would look down from the heavens. The Rito decided that they wanted to live in a completely different area of Hyrule, so they moved out of the region of Hyrule and moved to another city or Kingdom. When they left, other Hyruleans (anyone that comes from Hyrule) moved with them, expanding the races to farther regions of the world. The Sheikah lived and built a city under the mountains in which the Gorons live. The Oocca lived within the skies and labeled themselves as the Wind Tribe. The Twili lived in Hyrule with the Hylians.
1900 BI
Several Hylians emerged having extraordinary power and they took on the responsibilities of the sages of Hyrule. They started to write the Book of Mudora to give their descendants the knowledge of Hyrule's deepest secrets, including the Triforce. They then built ten temples to which the Sages could use to make decisions for Hyrule. One was built in the center of the Golden Land and protected the Triforce. Another was built in the heart of Death Mountain; one was built at the bottom of Lake Hylia; another was built in the graveyard of Kakariko Village; yet another was built at the end of the desert and that became known as the Desert Colossus; another was built over by the forest where the Kokiri and Korok lived. The Temple of Time was built as a gateway to the Golden Land. They then built two temples that were out of Hyrule and they took form of the Earth and Wind Temple. The final temple that was built was called the Temple of Light for where the sages would meet and converse about Hyrulean decisions.
1890 BI
The Book of Mudora was finished. It spoke of the Triforce and its great power.
1850 BI
An oracle came forth and told of a story that an evil man one day would come and try to take the Triforce. So the two sages that were of wind and earth built and forged a sword that had the power to repel evil. Once they were finished, they placed the sword in the Temple of Time and named it the Master Sword. They also made sure that only the Hero of Time (which at this point had yet to come out) is the only one who could touch it. The other sages built an ocarina and named it the Ocarina of Time, at this point they composed songs that would serve as keys to get into the Temple of Time for the Master Sword. The other sages also blessed the first female child born in every generation of the Hylian family to have a source of power known as the Light Force.
1830 BI
Just as the oracle foretold, a normal Hylian discovered the Book of Mudora and read about the Triforce. A Sage found out soon after that and eventually retrieved the Book of Mudora but it was already too late. The man had already forming plans about retrieving the Triforce. The War of the Triforce was about to begin.
1800 BI
The War of the Triforce had begun. All races began to search frantically for the gate to the Golden Land. Fortunately for Hyrule no one knew where the gate was. The sages started to guard the entrance to the Golden Land. Hylians and the other races began not only fighting against others, but also started killing off their own kind just to find the gate first. Finally, all the races that were involved decided to create teams or armies so that the war was no longer all man for himself, mostly to avenge the death of other fallen allies. However, three specific beings excelled in magic and the goddesses descended upon Hyrule. They sealed their powers away in three structures that soon became known as the Fused Shadows. Those items were lost throughout the war. After this had happened the Twili were then banished into a shadow world, known as the Twilight World. All the other races didn't think twice about it as their greed got the best of them. Eventually the original purpose of the search for the Triforce was long forgotten. The War for the Triforce lasted for centuries.
1700 BI
This is the time period in which records were lost in the tides of war. The war still raged all throughout Hyrule. This time era was named The Shadow Time, for there was death and nothing spectacular ever happened in this era. The only thing caught on record was that the Book of Mudora was lost. (This time period was talked about in the beginning of The Minish Cap)
1000 BI
The Minish hated all this fighting and wanted some way to stop it. They all got together to create a new magical weapon, one that had the ability to turn one person into four copies of himself. The Minish had plans on what they wanted to do with the sword.
900 BI
The war continued to this time when they realized that their numbers were getting dangerously low. All the races agreed on a temporary alliance. At this time the races began to reproduce. Every child, except the females, were trained in the ways of war so that it could commence one day. This lasted for centuries.
300 BI
All the races began forging new weapons and started to get their people for battle. Peace had ended in this year and sneak attacks started happening killing colonels and commanders. By the time everyone was ready for war, more than hundreds died already.
290 BI
War of the Triforce began again. People started to realize that there was no reason to fight, but the commanders and higher officials didn't want to end. They still wanted to get revenge for other deaths that occurred earlier.
232 BI
Gustaf, the first King of Hyrule in record was born.
217 BI
The Minish had decided that they are going to help end this. By the time Gustaf had been recruited into the Hylian army, they realized his great fighting skills and granted him the Four Sword. This was the first record of a man in a green garb. His great fighting abilities were well known all throughout Hyrule and the man in the green garb was recorded in history. Gustaf had begun to bring Hyrule out of the Shadow Times.
210 BI
Gustaf had finally found a way to stop the war. All the races had agreed that this was enough and the majority were happy to finally go home. Gustaf was immediately rewarded and was given the title of King of Hyrule. The Four Sword was placed in a holding pedestal and a tournament should be run in 100 years in celebration of the end of the war. The tournament's winner shall be decided to touch Four Sword. All the races agreed that he was to be the person to run Hyrule, since he was the one who saved it. The Zoras went into hiding and began their own way of life without outside interference. Gustaf settled in the castle and got married. Hyrule was finally at peace.
197 BI
Daltus, the son of Gustaf, was born.
190 BI
Hyrule was slowly being rebuilt and by about this time Hyrule was prosperous. The deaths and other casualties of war had finally started to wash away of the planet. People were starting to finally put it behind them and others had began building families. A new town was built and Hyrule was restored.
177 BI
Gustaf had decided that he wanted to retire an early retirement. He had fought in the war and he wanted to finally rest. He named Daltus, his son, King of Hyrule.
152 BI
Gustaf passed away a happy man. He was placed in a tomb at the very north point in the graveyard. He shall be remembered.
127 BI
Gustaf had Zelda at an old age. Link also was born at this time.
117 BI The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
This is Link's first adventure on record. This was also the first time that someone wore the green garb of Gustaf. The land of Hyrule prospered for nothing threatened the land, whatsoever. Link was a normal child that went to school and lived at home. One of his closest school friends at the time was none other than Princess Zelda, herself. At this time in this game there is an event that is taking place that celebrated the Picori (the Minish) showing themselves to the humans. After all, it has been 100 years. The Picori are tiny creatures that only can be seen by children. Zelda was currently the holder of the power of the Light Force. At the beginning of this game Zelda comes to greet Link at his home. At the same time, a swordsmanship competition is taking place in Hyrule Castle. The winner of the contest turned out victorious without any kind of effort, which even surprised King Daltus. Link's grandfather at this time is forging a sword that was to be presented at the ceremony. Together, with sword in hand, Link strolls into town with Zelda. Along with the Smith's Sword, this victor shall also be granted to touch the sacred blade, The Picori Sword (or Four Sword). This year's winner is a young man by the name of Vaati. Vaati then receives his gift, and makes it clear that he seeks the ultimate power (the Light Force, which he believes is resting within the Picori Sword). When Vaati touches the blade, it shatters and hundreds of monsters are set free, scattering across the land. Once he sees that the Force was not there, he receives a vision. He then notices that Zelda has this power and casts a curse upon her thinking that she would be a future threat. He vanishes and Zelda turns into a statue. Later, Link is asked to go to the Minish Woods to see if he can reforge the blade; since the Picori only show themselves to kids. So Link goes there and finds a talking green cap that says to him that he has to shrink down to find the Picori (who also call themselves the Minish). So Link does so with the help of this cap. When Link finds the Minish, he seeks out the elder, Gentari. He says to him that Link needs to find the four elements that are kept in the respective temples, and that he needs to find Melari, a mountain master smith who also belongs to the Minish race. Link travels to the first dungeon to receive the Earth Element and immediately goes to Melari to smith it together with the blade. He then tells Link to go get the next element in a fire temple and in order for him to forge the elements together, link must find a sanctuary that lies within Hyrule Castle. Meanwhile, Vaati possessed the King and is seeking the Light Force using the King's people. After Link returns with the Fire Element, the sword gets is finished being reforged and is now the White Sword. On the way to the castle, Link is confronted with Vaati. Vaati vanishes and leaves Link to fight Dark Nuts. After the fight, the cap speaks and reveals Vaati's origins as well as his own. The cap reveals his name as Ezlo and that he used to be a Minish Sage. Vaati was also a Minish. Ezlo also said that he created a cap that allowed anyone's wish come true (kind of like the Triforce). After training Vaati with magical powers of the Minish, Vaati took the cap and transformed himself into a giant black ball of energy with an eye.(what we know him as). Link realizes that with two elements, he can transform himself into two copies. Link then travels to the Wind Palace to get the element, but is told that the Wind Tribe took it. He then receives the Water Element in Lake Hylia and then can now make three copies of himself. Link then goes and sees the Wind Tribe, who tell him that the last element is located in the Sky Palace. After receiving the final Element, Link travels to the sanctuary to combine the four elements with the sword. He now can make four copies of himself and the sword is now called The Four Sword. A secret room then opens leading Link into an area that shows that Zelda is in fact, the keeper of this Light Force. Vaati sees this and plunges Hyrule into complete darkness. Link then has to go through Dark Hyrule Castle to find Vaati. After defeating him in an epic duel, Vaati falls and Zelda is restored. Zelda then gets the red cap and wishes Hyrule is restored to what we all know. Link is then given a green hat to signify that he is the Capped Hero. As for the elements of Hyrule, they were handed to Knights to protect them.
110 BI The Aftermath
After the events of The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, the King of Hyrule and Zelda had found out that not only the Minish Cap had the ability to grant wishes but so did the Triforce. Link was named a hero and was hand picked by the goddesses. He would once again come back and save Hyrule. He was to be reborn. However, due to the events that took place in Minish Cap the actual cap itself no longer needs to be worried about, since Ezlo decided to take it and return to the little Minish World. Princess Zelda and the King of Hyrule tried to figure out how could they stop someone from gaining access to the Triforce. Well, since Zelda still had the Light Force still within her, she decided that it would be wise to create objects of virtue, or otherwise the Spiritual Stones. These stones were then brought into being and each of them represented a certain virtue. They were then passed down to three races to keep watch over them, and it was then said that one needed all three of the Spiritual Stones to be able to touch the Triforce and get your wish granted. After word got out on there actually being a way to touch the Triforce some of the races got angered with each other. A war then broke out and during this war the King of Hyrule had been killed. This war raged on for a long time.
58 BI
The construction of the Black Tower begins in Labrynna.
7 BI
Princess Zelda is born.
10 BI
Link is born. The war that had started 100 years ago was eventually named the Fierce War. Then, one man stepped up and asked the leaders of each race. Why are we fighting. The answer had been lost over the years and the war stopped. The races appointed that man the new King of Hyrule. However, during the war Link's mother was worried about the war and brought Link to a near-by forest and that the Great Deku Tree, which was the birth of the seed that the Korok and Kokiri planted, would watch over him. At this point, the Korok took on Kokiri forms not to scare the mother coming in.
Imprisoning War Begins
0 DI The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Link starts his adventure in the Kokiri Forest where his mother had left him. He is told early on that an evil man named Ganondorf wants to obtain the Triforce. The Great Deku Tree grants Link permission to leave the forest and gives Link the Kokiri's Emerald. Link then slowly captures the other two Spiritual Stones and now has enough balance in his body to obtain the Triforce before Ganondorf does. After Link got the three spiritual stones he headed towards the castle. Zelda escapes from Hyrule and hides out as she commands Link to pull the Master Sword from the pedestal. When Link pulls the sword out of the pedestal gate between Hyrule and the Golden Land had opened and Ganondorf went in to retrieve the Triforce. At this point the timeline splits into an alternate reality. The Triforce splits into three pieces and they are granted to Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf. (for the remainder events, there is a section ahead to read, I separated them because the adult Link is seven years in the future, remember that the rest of this section is events that take place after the events from the future) Link then placed the Master Sword back into the pedestal. However, Link returned from the future much brighter then when he first lifted it, but also returned before he even met Zelda. (This would explain her reaction at the end of the game after the credits) Link tells Zelda about the attack that Ganondorf is planning and she believes him. However, since there are two of Zelda, and two of Ganondorf, one of each in present and Alternate Hyrule, there are also two Triforces in both timeframes as well. Since the sword was still pulled however, Link in the present time, Zelda, and Ganondorf have the Triforce of their type, but are all unaware. Link has Courage, Ganondorf has Power, and Zelda has Wisdom. Link and Zelda convince the King to get ready for war. Hesitant, he does just in case. However, Link feels obligated that he must find his lost friend, Navi, who he lost when he returned from Alternate Hyrule. Zelda feels safe if the Ocarina of Time was with Link, so she gives it to him and he sets off to find his lost friend. He ends up traveling trough the Lost Woods and is pulled into an alternate reality. The coarse of this event took two years.
2 DI The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Link is pulled into the land of Termina, where he finds the moon is slowly falling onto the land and is going to destroy it within three days. Link frantically searches for an answer when he finds that the Song of Time can alter time, and he relives the same three days over and over. However, Link does continue to age as it happens. At the end of the fight with Majora, Link ends up traveling back to Hyrule in way of sea. He decides that the land is safe and all evil has been eradicated. Link then takes a boat and travels back to Hyrule in search of his friend.
3 DI
Hyrule begins to heavily train men for battle against Ganondorf.
4 DI
Ganondorf attacks just as Link has foretold. The armies of Hyrule were already prepared for it and war had started again. Ganondorf immediately ran-sacked the Temple of Time. The other temples were soon torn down and the fall of the races had begun. At this point a sage had decided that he hide the Master Sword and during the coarse of the war, it was lost.
5 DI The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
Link was still on his search for his friend. Not being successful on his search he decided to head home back to Hyrule. On his way his ship got into a bad storm and he was knocked out by the debris from his ship. Unfortunately this is the point in which the Ocarina of Time was lost at sea. Never to be found. But never needed, as for Link had no idea that Hyrule was under attack and that the Temple of Time had been ripped down. The events take place on Koholint Island. During this time, he started to realize that he had missed Zelda, and started thinking that the pretty girl he met on the island was her. The final fight consisted of a prophecy of Link's future enemies. Link then woke up on a piece of floating wood thinking that those events could all be a possible dream. But he wasn't sure, for his ship was nowhere to be found.
6 DI
Hyrule began loosing the war and Ganondorf had found out he had the Triforce of Power. Being six years later the sages had now realized who they were, they then decided to banish Ganondorf to an alternate world using a new tool. They had built a Mirror called the Mirror of Twilight ages ago. This instrument of Ganondorf?s demise placed him into the Twilight World. In the Twilight Ganondorf did not age, since he had enough power to make himself into an essence, a god. He lived there with the Twili.
6 DI The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Eventually the Twili living there in the Twilight World also created a kingdom and named a King. This King was a good man and had a daughter and named her Midna. The King of Twilight had to name who would be the next king, so he hand picked one of the Twili. However, one of them didn?t approve of this decision of his, this Twili?s name was Zant. He then prayed to the heavens for power to rule the Twilight World, about that time, Ganondorf, the holder of the Triforce of Power used it and granted power to Zant. Zant then turned the Twili into servents of evil and then found a way out of the Twilight World. During this the Twilight Princess Midna tried to stop him but placed a curse on her turning her beautiful body into an impish looking body. He then threw her into the Light World, otherwise known as Hyrule. He then used the same portal and went to Hyrule and attacked the castle using the power of Twilight. He also broke the Mirror of Twilight so Midna could never return to her kingdom. He broke it into four shards, because only the true ruler (Midna) could shatter the mirror. The Twilight turned everyone into wondering souls and the sad thing as that the people affected by the Twilight didn?t even know it. However, when Link went into the Twilight he turned into a beast instead of a soul. Thus being Midna?s answer to getting her body back and getting back to her world. During the course of the game Link meets up with four great guardians of the world, Ordona, Faron, Eldin, and Lanayru. These guardians told Link that he is a descendant of the previous Hero of Hyrule and that he had to save Hyrule again. They had him collect Tears of Light to bring the parts of the world controlled by Twilight back to the light. After that he then needed to collect the Fused Shadows, three pieces of what looks like ancient stone fragments that combine together to give one immense power of darkness. They form together to become a helmet. After the three fused shadows were obtained Link retrieved the Master Sword from its resting place. They visited Zelda in the castle and then Zant attacked. Zelda sent her soul into Midna?s body and sacrificed herself to get them out to safety. Midna at the beginning of this whole quest was in it for herself, but afterwards when Zelda sacrificed herself she saw what being a princess was really about. He then eventually collected the four shards of the Mirror of Twilight and restored it. They both traveled to the Twilight World and finally found out why Zant is doing what he is. He said that Ganondorf was his lord and that he had attacked Hyrule and is sitting in the throne right now. The battle between Zant and Link began. After, what seemed like endless rounds of torture, Link came out victorious. They returned to Hyrule Caste and broke the barrier around it using the Fused Shadows. Ganondorf had escaped from the Twilight World when Zant re-opened the portal in the first place. Of course Link had to now face Ganondorf who used the Triforce of Power to his advantage. After a long and gruesome battle, Link delivered the final blow to Ganondorf directly through his chest. The sages then killed Ganondorf but the spirit of Ganon had taken the Triforce of Power and disappeared back into the Evil Realm to gain power. Link then realized that with Ganondorf and Zant gone Midna got her body back. They returned to the Mirror of Twilight and said their good-byes. As Midna left to the Twilight World she used what she had for power and shattered the Mirror of Twilight and the portal closed for good. Link then placed the Master Sword back in its pedestal. Link and Zelda lived life and eventually passed away just like the ones before them.

194 AI The Legend of Zelda
Zelda took her Triforce of Wisdom and split it into eight pieces and scattered them throughout Hyrule. Link then went on a quest to find this Triforce of Wisdom and still having the Triforce of Courage would give him a total of two pieces of the Triforce. Link succeeds at doing so and receives the last piece. Link and Ganon had an epic fight but Link once again prevailed. Ganon was destroyed, or so everyone thought. However, Link, was unable to receive the final piece because he was not in balance with the Triforce to do so. Ganon kept it in his bloodline and once again would be reborn with Zelda and Link. Link now had two pieces of the Triforce.
327 AI
Link and Zelda return once again. Ganon once again comes back as well with the Triforce of Power.

Link finds out that Vaati is breaking the seal that the Four Sword held him in. Link receives a telepathic message from Zelda that he should come and see her. When he gets there he sees Shadow Link who takes all the seven maidens and encases them into crystal cocoons. Link follows Shadow Link into an area underneath Hyrule Castle where the Four Sword is held. Link takes it and splits into four copies of himself. When this happens, Vaati is released from the seal that he has been in for many years. Link sets out on a quest to free the seven maidens, (who are reincarnated sages) including Zelda. During his quest he finds out that Ganon has stolen the magical trident and is using it for evil. Link also finds all the elements, to restore the Four Sword to its rightful power. Ganon used Shadow Link and Vaati so he could find his men and regain power, and break out of the Evil Realm. He succeeded. After Shadow Link had been vanquished, Link sought out Vaati. The battle was epic, but Link ended up sealing Vaati again in the Four Sword. At the end, Ganon returned with his trident and attacked Link. Link also defeated Ganon and was sealed to the Four Sword. But, Ganon had two things that Vaati did not, he had his alter-ego and the Triforce of Power.
338 AI The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
The Spiritual Stones had been passed down from the Knights of Hyrule who did survive the wars. The Spiritual Stones were then turned into the Pendants of Virtue, which is what Link finds on A Link to the Past. The sages were now reincarnated as the seven maidens. With Ganon in the Sacred Realm, a cataclysm could happen again. The King ordered the seven maidens (who had the power of the original seven sages) to see if the seal was broken. The seal was still intact. Till one day evil started pouring out of the Golden Land, and any one who got caught in it was instantly part of Ganon's army. Then one of the King's right hand men kidnapped Zelda and captured the seven maidens. This was Agahnim. He did Ganon's bidding. Link then woke up out of bed with a telepathic message being sent to him. He ended up then saving Zelda, and bringing her to the sanctuary. Portals then opened all over Hyrule. Men, not knowing it was the Dark World, walked in and became a permanent part of Ganon's collection. Link having to once again wield the Master Sword, went to go find the Pendants of Virtue, which once was the three spiritual stones. He finds them all and pulls the Master Sword out of its pedestal. At this time Zelda gets kidnapped again. Creating his own way to the Dark World, Link finds Agahnim and tries to kill him. Link gets sucked into the portal to the Dark World. The Moon Pearl protected him though so he didn't turn into an animal. He freed the seven maidens and they opened the door to Ganon's tower. Link ended up killing Ganon and obtained the Triforce of Power. Link now had the whole Triforce and has the power to touch it due to the pendants he got. He restores the Dark World back into the Golden Land. Link also replaced the Master Sword for it fulfilled its purposes. Now that Ganon is dead and peace once again rules Hyrule.
340 AI
Link places the full Triforce in a hidden temple. No one can enter the temple unless called by the Triforce.
341 AI
Holodrum is discovered.
342 AI The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
Link then travels to these two lands in both timeframes. The events take place (the games came out at the same time). The events of the games are not that important except that the Master Sword is recovered in both timeframes and Link retrieved it. Twinrova returns like she promised in Ocarina of Time. They were defeated but then used the last of her powers to revive Ganondorf. After a fierce battle, Link defeated him and returned the Master Sword to sleep again. Now that Ganondorf is gone and all his minions are defeated, perhaps this is the ending. Or is it?
(Alternate Hyrule Dates- takes place right after year 0 DI The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time )
7 AH The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time; Continued
The Triforce in the Alternate Hyrule was split into three pieces and went to Link, Ganondorf, and Zelda, seeing that they were most in balance with the piece they got. The six sages at this time needed to be awakened to try to stop Ganondorf from getting any more powerful. As the events go by, Link ends up facing one of Ganondorf's main allies, Twinrova. Link ends up killing them and they promise to come back in the future sometime. At the end events Link banishes Ganondorf to the Evil Realm and tries to re-build Hyrule. The sages had been freed. It was then recorded that the sages were to be honored. They were recorded in history and everyone shall remember them. Zelda told Link that he should go back and relive his childhood. He agreed, and when he went back, the Triforce of Courage was split into eight pieces for another holder in Alternate Hyrule. Zelda held onto the Triforce of Wisdom until another King was issued and then she broke into two pieces, one for him, and the other for herself. Ganondorf, though still in the Evil Realm, had the Triforce of Power and promised to come back exterminating all of Link's descendants.

187 AH The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
He sees a pirate girl named Tetra get attacked by a giant bird. Later in the game Link realizes that the boat that is helping him travel is in fact controlled by the king of Hyrule. The King of Hyrule at this time owns one of the pieces of the Triforce of Wisdom. Tetra has the other piece. This Triforce was passed down through generations. During it you see Ganondorf who has escaped from the Evil Realm and attacked Hyrule. His goal is to obtain the entire Triforce and rule the world. So Link ends up meeting the King under water where the castle of Hyrule exists. But there is a magical barrier around this castle allowing Link to breathe. For the first time he realizes that Tetra is in fact Zelda and she puts the two pieces of the Triforce of Wisdom together to get it. Since Ganondorf still has the Triforce of Power, the Triforce of Courage was still out there. So the king put Link on a quest. Leaving Hyrule Castle with Master Sword in hand, he tries his hardest to find the eight pieces of the Triforce of Courage which the original Link lost because he went back to his normal time one-hundred years ago. When he finally achieves it he travels back down to Hyrule to see that Zelda has been kidnapped by Ganondorf. Well now the Master Sword is fully powered thanks to the aid of the two new sages, Medli and Makar, Link now has the power to break the barrier around Hyrule Castle and get to Ganon's Tower. When he gets there he sees that he has to reface every boss that he has faced previous of this. Also he faces Phantom Ganon (who first appeared in Ocarina of Time) and Puppet Ganon. When he gets to Ganondorf, he sees that Ganondorf has already taken the Triforce of Wisdom form Zelda. He then steals the Triforce of Courage from Link and combines it together into one solid Triforce. It descends in front of Ganondorf as he makes his wish to rule Hyrule and to let all the things that has ever gotten in his way be destroyed. Just before he touches the Triforce though, the King touches it and wishes for Link and Zelda to have the power to destroy Ganondorf. The King also wishes for a new Hyrule for these two to live in. The Triforce ascends back into the air granting the wish. Link ends up defeating Ganondorf with the help of Zelda and he stabbed the Master Sword directly through Ganondorf's head. Ganondorf turns to stone, and just then since they are still under water but just protected from a magic barrier, the barrier breaks and the place starts to flood. The King ends up dying but Link and Zelda and up floating on top of the water, where Zelda turns back into Tetra. At the end Tetra and her pirates along with Link sail off to find a new Hyrule. As for the Triforce, the Triforce was split again because the King who touched it wasn't in balance. Since Ganondorf is dead, the Triforce of Power went to Link and the Triforce of Wisdom went to Tetra. The Triforce of Courage was then placed into the Great Palace deep under Hyrule. Link and Tetra sail off and find new areas to explore.

Link eventually found himself traveling to Hyrule because Impa, Zelda's nursemaid called for help. Zelda was placed under a deep sleeping spell. Link saw this and had to save her. Link ended up waking her from her slumber by defeating his shadow self. During his adventure, he found that all the cities were named after sages of past times. He defeated Shadow Link in the Great Palace and retrieved the Triforce of Courage. He then took her Triforce of Wisdom and woke her up using all three pieces. He held Triforce in the air, waking up Zelda. But the evil Ganon would soon strike. It was said that Ganon would return. (Source: when you get a game over) At the end Link was rewarded for the first time with a kiss. And the Master Sword was nowhere to be found. And there was no King in this game either hence why the King's Tomb is in the graveyard. And as Twinrova looked through their crystal ball at Link and Zelda kissing, little did they know what they had in store for Labrynna.

Or is it...
