Syn's Enhanced/Recolured RTP

I got tired of looking at the RTP, so, powered by the sheer will of boredom, I recolored and/or enhanced the current color of all the RTP Character Sets. I must have been extremely bored huh?

Files include 200 RTP Character Sets + 2 Other animated sets that I accidentally zipped >.>

Does anybody like these character sets? If requested enough I will go and recolor there battlers as well, if, someone has a use for them that is.

Looks like someone could make a kinda cell-shaded game with these sprites, It's be good if you could make the Tilesets like this too.

bright areas and other too dark... their quality are not good, the charsets looks "burnt"

Well I think they'd look okay in a game, if you darkened the tilesets, and change the Map Properties, so the colours are a lil' darker.

Note: Some of the sets are darker then others. If you look in the package you will see a variety of different shades/brightness. Some are darker then others, whereas some are lighter.

Looks like you just added a filter, or just did some contrast/saturation/brightnesses editing. Either way it looks ugly.

Can't anyone say anything good about them ? I bet theres people who are going to download the file and actually use the character sets, I think they look good, I'd just have to make a dark game to fit them in with.

Some people will like them, others will not. Everyone has their own opinion, I couldn't care less if someone downloads them and uses them, or just passes them along

They are alright, but very neonistic(Is that a word?) Their contrast is very different from RTP. I want to try something with filters my self, just not as difficult. One for instance is using cross-hatching to design the characters and world, intresting and artistic approach to making games. So I give them a 6/10

If you input something here, it is to undergo a critique, that means if it's good or bad and why.

They do look as though they have just been cracked up in the contrast department, but if people want to use that they will.

I agree with the opinion that these look like they were just run through filter, and while they are indeed different, it really doesn't have a pleasant effect.

In my opinion, these don't look ugly, just different. It gives sort of, a gameboy advance look to them. I like the way they look. They'd represent the older style RPG's like the old final fantasies and new gameboy advance games with golden sun style characters. If people used the converted resources from RPGmaker 2003 to XP, these would blend well with them.
