what is this sprite like to work with?

I rather like it. It's actually pretty easy to manipulate. However, if you change the size of a small part it gets kinda deformed. I wanted to change the feet, but they end up looking too small (as they are now they're kinda big)

I think thats because of the colors you used for the pants... and that the pants are skin tight. I think they look good if you fo it like clest and calint

Calintz: Thanks again, and really, I like that Myagi of yours, he inspired me for a character in my game XD Now I want to see a girl from you!

Soft: Thanks, I am really not used to work with gradients without Photoshop, it is usually cell shading or photoshop brushes, so my shading got a bit grainy on those... but I can live with then as they are Glad you liked!

btw... a male... and yeah, he is male!

Soft: Thanks, being original was my main goal there. As for detail, I imagine him with more details, like a kimono shirt over his actual shirt sporting more purple flame patterns... but when I made the outline it looked kinda ugly :P

Calintz: Thanks! Though I don?t think it is so much better than your entry, in fact I imagine both my girl and afro samurai dude along with your Myagi in a fighting game. The emo boy and wrench wielding ninja would look good for a fighting game too XD
As for the bloody girl, goes more for a silent hill thing, but I still like her XD

Here's my entry. I didn't keep to the template exactly. I made the legs longer, reduced the size of the feet, reduces the amount of colors (I think the amount of colors in the template don't have enough contrast and there's too many of them), and some other things. 15 colors, including the background:

That's probably the most impractical sword I've ever drawn. Oh well! I eventually got lazy.
