One of the reasons I'm using these song lyrics mp3 in the first place is because they're awesome, in my opinion. Either way, I can't compose good music(I've composed two musics in my lifetime. One of them has a good melody but simply sucks, the other is absolutely amazing, albiet short, but I lost it somewhere) and getting good vocalists is a hassle for my game.

Mp3 is just a file format. It's better than most as far as quality vs compression, unless like me you actually *enjoy* the sound of MIDIs.

As many have stated, it's the content that counts.

Back to what Cruelty said... you're assuming other people will want to hear your taste in music. Given, that might be your target audience, but even the people who love those songs will go insane if they have to hear them too often. I love all the bands you listed, but I only listen to them very rarely cause I can't take the overuse of said songs. I leave it up to you, but expect some people to get annoyed or confused by your game. Good luck. :thumb: :thumb:

Well, I'm not actually planning this mp3 and song stuff for my *current* game. It's for future reference.

Anyways, I guess striving to make the ENTIRE audio file song/music mp3 is pretty stupid. I'll do it just for some, maybe only specifically for scenes or whatnot.

Also, is the idea for making the audio file a seperate download a good idea for slow internet users? I mean, mp3 files are freaking huge.
