Skill Mana System

i was surprise how fast you reply! Well thanks a bunch! I really like your scripts (aswell as from the other) and tries to combine all of them and end up having lotsa errors':| anyway, since im hear already ill just one question, about your materia system, when one of the materia levels up and i try to check the skill window this error pops up Script 'Game_Actor' line 493:NoMethodError occured undefined method '>' for nil:NilClass. Line 493 looks like this: if skill_id > 0 and not skill_learn?(skill_id) thanks again:P
 
about the mana thingy: you have to go to the skills menu and highlight a skill there and press shift right? but now, since im using VVulfman's Grouping and Detail script i have to go to the sub skill menu first before the actual skill can be highlighted, which in turn making mana unable to work, and you made the equipment skill script too right? like can i combine those three together with trickster's Ip skill thingy? (yeah im a scriptoholic:P ) err am i like bugging you? you seem liek doing much! well uhh thankies teh bunch!
 
yay they work! but uhh...some window overlap from the main menu to the skill menu:

that menu lets you choice the four sub menu (but you can press shift and activate the mana window, it shows the required for acid demonstration the last skill without even highlighting the skill yet because your just on the sub-menu)

Pressing A button again lets you now highlight the skill and use the shift to activate the mana window (this is where i only want the mana to activate, not on the sub menu)

Mana window looks like this, you can notice that the characters info from the window behind got overlapped...uhh help? Last one before teh mimi sleeps^_^
 
Hello there! Nice script, I absolute love the mana icons.:D
I had only one minor problem...:S
I'm using RTAB and it doesen't accept the script.
I can use it in my game (press z on the skill list and the skill mana window appears and all the stuff) but I can cast spell even if I have 0 skill mana of all elements. I don't get an RGSS Error, the Rtab just doensen't accept this beautiful script.
If you could merge it witht the RTAB I'll be sooooo grateful!

Sorry to bump this topic back up but this question is directed to Sephiroth Spawn, Is their a way to have skill mana regenerate every turn in battle if a certain item is equipped (say a fire amulet would increase the mana by +3 every turn during combat and a fire amulet increases fire mana +15 every 5 turns)
 
Wow that was fast >.>, well since you said add suggestions, I guess you can rig the defend command to give a set or random amount of mana as well. Heh, I got the idea to use accessories as a Guardian Force like item for some reason and thought that each GF would give a certain amount of mana per turn. Also another suggestion is pulling mana out of the monster with a FF8/ Draw like command, depending on their elemental settings. D, E, and F, give nil while C, B, and A give some amount.

This will be a great base for my magic system. I would just have to figure out how I would want to increase my mana points.
