Side view battle system

An incredible amount of work has been done to this script, I would say that this has risen to be one of the more popular battle systems.

And rye, there is no need to be embarrassed. Realize that there are other users on the discussion board that do not speak English as a primary language.

Alright, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. Do I change that in your script, in RTAB, or in both? What am I supposed to do with the code you posted earlier?

you change that in SDVA script "phase3_setup_command_window"

do u know if we can change the picture it uses? (this is really hard to say)

i mean: i was once used a starter kit, which on the status menu showed a picture of the character. it would retrieve the file "battlerfile_front]

all i'm saying is that it is possible to somehow tell this thing to load a different file, perhaps a file labeled "charset_battle"

then you could make separate LARGER charsets that had the same filename as the original of the character, only with _battle added, and then they'd have batllesprites!

my actual ? is: where is the line specifying what img to load?

1. How to change Coords of Allies's Charset Battler
2. How to change the speed of Allies ? They move and slash Enemies so fast , I want to change that speed

rye, will you please give another look at my problem?

edit: nevermind, i finally fixed it. the problem was Wulfman's battle status modification interfering with the fix.
 
You've done a great job making this rye. I really like it a lot.
I'm not really a good scripter so I've got a few questions about the side view system where both heros as enemies have a side view:

All the enemies line up at the bottom of the screen. How can I make them line up like the party? And if there're more than 4 enemies how can I make them line up in two rows or all in the same row?

How can I make the the hp and sp bar show above the caracters?

How can I make the caracters also show up on the stats bar? So they show up like in the front view but also can be seen in side view (and the enemies too).

The enemies alignment isn't set by the script. Go into the database then to the troops tab, click on the enemy party and then click on an enemy and move him on the screen to the positions you want.

I started using this script, and I noticed a small issue. During a battle I can not find out how to make a monster or an actor to just simply dissapear. (Useful for summoning and enhanced combat using animations) Change actor graphic doesn't work. I used the same "insert" with and without this script. The change actor graphic works while I am not using the script.

Any thoughts?

I like how this system is done but, because the comments are in a different language I can't understand how to make the enemy go on side view as well. If it uses the graphic, of the monster that you provide, then I wouldn't want it like that because the monster I have has no graphic so you can't see when your going to encounter a battle.
