I would've made an mmo if I could figure out how to set it up. I don't see much wrong with the maps. I've seen worse that's all I'll say. the town or city screen shots seem ok but the wilderness screen shots need a little more enviroment to it.
What annoys me the most is to see some one attempt something and everyone thinking it's dumb. I get that and actually from the warcraft III community thats about all I got. But this sort of critisism is not nessesary without telling them what they should do to make it better. Another thing that annoys me. You say well this and that sucks and dont even say why. and the last thing that annoys me is people constantley complaining about the same thing. Ones enough. 2 toleratble. 3, getting on your nerves. 4 making you mad. ect. Please if some ones already stated something dont state it again. unless you have your own unique comment
What I suggest you do with your maps, 1st off in the towns make a place on the map that looks like a road. Or a path people walk on (like a side walk or something) 2nd on your outside maps, you need more trees, and grass. I mean tall grass, and to touch it up put some random plants. like small flowers. And random base grass. I use 2 grass tiles to vary the grass making it look more natural then repeditive.
The mapping was all? ok well I hope to see this project taken alittle more seriously. Everyone's projects should be taken seriously. just becuase it doesn't look like much now doesn't mean it won't be the next big thing.

I mean, everybody asked him to put up this one piece of info: What the races are, and what they're called. Has he? No. Has he had more than enough of a chance? Yes. Will he? Probably not.
Not every project needs to be taken seriously, because if they were, then lots of people would be disappointed when they become buried in the forums.

For everyone that has a bad opinion, there may be two that has a good opinion. Yet, I know that the ones that passes the line of having constructive criticism, and just goes into harsh criticism.. it will be the most cutting. Yet, people like retards cant understand that some people when recieving a cut (even to the ego) they either pull back to regroup or lunge forward on offensive. When this happens.. usually other retards pull out of the woodwork and attack the weakened person with the group .. .as wolves on weakened prey. When you're part of a pack feeding on someone.. its hard to realize they're point of view.. which I am always looking to.

Well zech04, I'm glad you're atleast trying to do this. But one reason that no one is taking this seriously is because you write like a 8 year old. I don't know anything about you, but from reading what you posted, I hope English is a second language, or you really need to slow down and re-read things before you post them.

Sorry if it came off as dissing your art. I was just trying to allude to the phrase "I don't know art, but I know what I like," without using a cliche. What I'm getting at is this: I'm an amateur writer, and I could never dream of being published. However, I believe I'm totally entitled to critique a story that makes no sense, and correct someone's grammar. I'm not sure you're aware that this thread is effectively an advertisement for your game. If you don't present something well, odds are that not many people will be interested. If you type like a brain-damaged chimp when trying to convince me to play your game, I'm going to assume that you have the same lazy, half-assed attitude toward creating anything. I've really wanted to make an MMO. If you need help with anything (Even making your thread better lol) then I can do it.
Mapping and in-game stuff I can't work on until January since I've used up three Trials already and I don't have anymore computers to download it onto lol.

The fact that you can play online in no way excuses him from actually putting something in the damned game, or even in the thread. WoW has a lush, vast, ever-changing world full of bloodsucking quests that take at least an hour to complete. People put their kids through college making sure that WoW and most other MMOs remain addictive. You can have your very own character created from many, many, many different parts. A game made in RMXP can't realistically provide an experience quite like WoW, partially due to graphical restrictions.Actingman00":2etintot said:
