RPG maker VX?

Ha...yeah I actually seen the full program and crack for the registration..it indeed does take less than 5 minutes of searching google...

LOL
you sure don't know how to search in google aren't you Q? Just a tip, don't use 'download' on it, only those warez site will appear that way...

BTW, anyone knows how much will the english RMVX be? or at least how much is the current RMVX cost?

I typed in "rmvx torrent" in google and got 5 torrents that worked.  They each came with the program, the registration crack, and the english dll...  Shoot, the file came up immediately when I did a rapidsite search.

Piracy is everywhere, sad but true.

Grammar check plax.

@Died
I was meaning a full copy of the program WITH backdoor entrances (i.e. Crack / Keygen). But either way, that patch for bypassing registration / serial input has leaked out.

@Marcus
That was longer than 5 minutes. The crack/patch was leaked off RPG Revolution my thinks.

Lies!

As far as I've seen, everything points to $60 USD.
RMXP was 100 in Japan, still is from what I just checked, and the English is 60, and from the lose translations (and a LOT, and I do mean a LOT of speculation) I'm going to safely bet on 60 again.  75 tops.

Q, you shouldn't have challenged him, especially when one of the up-and-coming RMXP/VX resource sites is already hosting the japanese version w/ english translation (not trial). They just took down the actual crack necessary to bypass the registration though, likely awashing their hands of any potential legal responsibility.

It'll probably take him less than 5 min to find that site.

Actually, I am the webmaster of that site, and this is my old alias. o_O

I have been experimenting with the new maker trying to increase the number of tiles I can use in a project. It seems like there is a restricted of up to four 512x512 tileset images, per entire project. I tried proportionally increasing the tileset image sizes, but it will not read past the first 512x512 pixels.

Is it just me, or is this a massive deal breaker? I cannot imagine how anyone can find this not extremely limiting.

Although I could be wrong, and there might be an obvious way to accomplish this (please say so if this is the case ^^).

That seems to be a problem for a lot of people, you are not alone.  Not a deal breaker for me, but something I can't understand why they would do it.

People who were happy making 32-bit style RPG maps will surely be disappointed. Those of us who don't mind the simpler 8-bit/16-bit/oldschool style won't mind.

All on preference...I  personally don't mind, I was wondering why no one ever made these type of graphics for RMXP..there's some..but people didn't find it "attractive" as awhole.

Maybe because not many people like them? :p

Its really the whole mapping system that kills it for me, and pretty much everyone else. I don't like having limits, and limiting me in terms of layer and in what kind of graphics I can use really hurts me. Not to mention that fact I can't choose priorities, terrain, or anything like that. Basically I can choose if something is impassible or not....

I just really don't like it.
