Calm the fuck down, everybody. There's even a built-in safeguard you can use to protect your project against this half-finished program if it scares you so badly.
Think of it like this:
You own a house. You have a perfectly alright front door.
Somebody invents a sledgehammer (or "program") that will bash through your front door. This is intended purely for people who wish to see how you went about doing the interior design (or "eventing") of your house. But, it's available for free for everyone to use.
Now, people complain, so the maker of the sledgehammer develops a sledgehammer proof shield (or "failsafe") and gives it to you.
But, the program in question checks to see if the failsafe is there before doing any action... but then what is to stop somebody editting this program in some way that will simply get around the front door by smashing through your window, thereby stealing all of your bagels?
