Real Time Active Battle (The Systems)

Um... Fox? Hate to tell you this but my download link works. I just downloaded the 399.9K zip file. It works, and the files inside were intact.
 
Should I post that code here for an check? And please can you post the link for me my friend? I guess I'm a bit lost...

Sorry for being so slow but I don't completely understand how this system works... I have RTAB v 1.14 working with my game, the standard RTAB system with a front-view. Now I'd like to fit in the add-ons, but I've experienced a few errors. Are there any additional scripts I need for these add-ons to work with the engine?
 
To Foxbuster: Instead of posting the link, PM it instead. That way, if you want security for your "special" scripts... and we all have fun stuff we wanna keep secret... it'll be KEPT confidential.

BUT... for all who read this post... I posted a newer demo with the works. All the RTAB scripts I translated (and a couple 'o favs like Minkoff's) are built in and work... including the newly translated RTAB v 1.14 AND a RTAB script that allows you to use Items as SPELL COMPONENTS THAT GET USED UP!!!

All known RTAB topic links are in post #1...

Aw, who cares. Yer gonna download it and get 'em all in 1 shot anyway, right? :D
 
Now it worked. I couldn't open the demo in RPG Maker but I just copy-pasted the scripts in my game and opened them... I was in doubts about the organization of the scripts and some extra things... ^_^

Now just to ask... I have the following doubts... I had on my script SDK 1.5, NearFantastica keyboard input module and that equipment skill system. I heard somewhere that the SDK must be placed in an specific place in order not to interfere with RTAB, how should I proceed?

BTW, nice posting that japanese RTAB...

EDIT: Just tested... Weird that in the battle test doesn't show up any text... T_T But it worked perfectly.
 
DerVVulfman, there is a script of Cogwheels, that is an automatic door script. I was wondering if you are going to translate it? I have translated all the english text, now im just repairing it as translating it does some funky stuff to the script. But not event he untranslated version works correctly, so I am wondering if you would like to take the task of seeing why it wont work? Im just wondering, because I know you are familiar with Cogwheels scripts.

You have to put RTAB below SDK so RTAB isn't overwritten by the modifications. Putting it below RTAB will cause conversion to nil errors.

How do you mean? Is it the battlestatus window at the bottom? My BattleStatus Modification script doesn't specify any fonts, so it should use the default fonts that would normally be used?

But I do NOT want to disappoint a lady. I'll find that thief and bring him to swift and vengeful jus... :rage: Oh. Wait. You WANT a thief. Maybe I can tweak an existing script... ^_^ I hope.

The problem is making it compatible with RTAB. The official add-ons were designed to work with it because they made 'dummy' defs in the engine... planning to use 'em ahead of time. They were jointly created.

This isn't. And I don't know what to dooooo.......':|

Yeah. Right. Since when did that ever stop me?

You have to wait until I update to version 6.0, but well the RTAB is pretty much incompatible with any other scripts that modify Scene_Battle since It changes the name of one of the variables (@active_battler)

You will have to wait until I update the script for compatibility this this one.
