Look in the top right, there's a search box. If you click the drop down menu you can choose "On my mind..."

Whatever you type in there goes to that thread, like a twitter feed I guess. It's locked because conversations aren't really supposed to happen there, that's what "post what's on your mind" (badly named, since it's really turned into a continuous conversation) is for, which you'll find in the rec room.

The twitter name is bad really since it has nothing to do with actual twitter. It's just a similar setup kinda.

The [i]Code tag don't do[/i] his[b] job very well, it[/b] [u]can be annoying[/u][color=#FF0000] if we use kind of tags in our script.[/color]

The 'code' tag really should ignore all formatting tags (bold, italic, underline). It's meant to display un-formatted code.
It also used the Geshi syntax highlighting filter to make code more readable. This could conflict with your formatting.

If you want formatting in code, to highlight elements for instructional purposes, use the 'pre' tag.
The [ code=text ] tag may also work better for your purposes.
