Quest Making


This is a tutorial where you will learn how to make a quest use'ing swithches.

1.First create a map and name it how you want.

2.Create a NPC whereever you want.

3.Now let's make a new item for our quest.
->Go to DataBase ->Then to Item

->Change Maximum Size to 35 (You can change it to a more bigger)

->Make a ring and name it Lost Ring add the icon of a ring,at description add Osrik's Lost Ring,at Occasion set it Never,at price set it 0,at Consumable set it No.

->Apply and OK.

4.Now let's go to our provious created NPC and create a Conditional Breanch.

->Go to the Page Number 4.

->There at the Item select Lost Ring and then press OK.

5.At this part we will introduce something about the ring at the second part.

-> Add a text :

Osrik: Hi Aluxes ! Can you please help me ? I have lost my precious ring and is very important !
-> Then Another Text :
Aluxes: I'll do my best to find it !
->It should look like this :

6.Now let's turn a switch on.

->Now creat a Specific Switch and name it Lost Ring (you can name it however you want but it's better to name Lost ring cuz you will remember about this quest easy.)

Then press Apply and OK.
->Now at Operation set it ON then press OK.

7.Now in the same map create a chest near Osrik (The NPC) :

->At the chest set a Condition On, Turn the Lost Ring Switch ON (this will make the chest to appear only after you talk to Osrik (The NPC).

->Now at the Chest Event's add a Text say'ing :
You recived the Lost Ring.
Should look like this :

->Make an event : Change Item.

->Now select the Lost Ring and make it to Increase and at constant set 1 and then press OK.Now Erase Event.

Apply and OK.

8.This part automaticly start's when the Lost Ring is in your inventory.Now let's go back to Osrick (The Npc) and at the first part of the Conditional Brench insert a text that will say :

Osrik: You found the Ring !
Aluxes: Yes i have it now !
Osrik: Thank's so much ! Here's your reward !
Recived 200 Gold !
Recived 25 EXP !
Sould look like this :

->Now add a new event where you will recive a 200 Gold.

->Now let's make that you recive 25 Experience !

9.Now let's turn another switch on (This switch must be on becouse Osrik wont give you the quest again) :

->Creat a new switch and name it LostRingFinish

10.Now let's make a New Page in the NPC event.

->There at the Condition's turn the Switch LostRingFinish on (This switch will make the NPC to not give you the quest again).
->Dont forget to set the Image of the Npc again (Sould be like the other).
->Insert a text where Osrik say's :

Osrik: Thanks again for return'ing back my ring.

11.Now go to the Chest Event and make a new page.

->At the Condition set on LostRingFinis (Is important becouse you wont be rewarded again with the Lost Ring.
->Set the Image of an Open'd chest.
->Insert a text where it will tell you that the chest is open :

This chest is empty.
