Passability Minimap

This is a great script, but it's not very practical... Like others have said, it counts bush tiles as impassable on the map.

Also, I think a great addition would be to be able to assign specific terrain IDs as impassable. That way I could have fences show as barriers on the minimap, but still be able to walk on the tiles, just not beyond them.

if you start the switch with an automatic event is normal that the screen freeze itself maybe it's better that you put a character on the map and when you talk tu him the switch is put on... or maybe your pc is a shit and it doesn't work with that script XD
aniway... it's possible to make, like in dragon quest - the odussie of the cursed king, that when you are in a dungeon if you take the map of the dungeon the map is take on? Oo
not with that switch becose with that switch you put on the map in all over the world of your game XD i wont to put it on in some map and in other map no, depending on the number of map you have XD
 
Your problem is you are using auto start, so it keeps trying to loop the action over and over... just use parallel process events.
 
Personally, I haven't seen much difference between the two event types, and Parallel Processes can loop too. Quick thought... have you tried using a self-switch in the event? Try turning on a self-switch after your event code so your event switches to a 2nd page or something.

I am in the same boat as Tensa, is there a way to refresh the Minimap... I also have may things changing and disappearing on maps and would like the minimap to update(refresh) so that certain things show-up / don't show-up on the minimap ie: NPC leaves screan and goes in a building - they still show up on the minimap unless you refresh by going to your menu and then escaping out of it.

Any help in this is well appreciated.

Also, is it normal to have Lag in the game even when the minimap is not showing?

Love this script, made an edit to it so that the whole map is shown with location written above it. And it only shows when 'L' or 'M' is held =D

I think these are the images, but I'm not truly sure. Even if they're not, they should work just fine.

Will those do? I found them in Mr. Mo's ABS, which is compatible with this script.

Also, to anyone who can help me, I have a problem with this script. An error message I've never seen before comes up whenever I try to testplay. All it says is 'Script is hanging.' It happens every time. Can someone help me out?
