Old is bad?

Well, as with any decision, you have to balance your options. You personally have to decide whether or not it's worth redoing however much work you have done for what would most likely be a better product.

Well I have a good 2 years invested in what I have.. THough considering not much of that work was mapping I could probably switch systems withonnly a minimal amount of pain.

rm2k games I have played were really good because in order to make a game worth looking at, people had to know rm2k inside and out to be creative, like the FInal Tantasy fan game made by a bunch of french people (search for it, you'll find it, its AMAZING)
I have yet to see a completed rmxp game though.
Bottom line, I do not prejudge a game based on its creation system. AS far as I am concerned, if its done well the player should not be able to tell what system it was made on though.

Rm2k3 is better then RMXP because of its simplicity but RMXP is better then Rm2k3 due to many more things you can do with.

Game are games no matter what they are made with.
