I'm in, I have a nice little story I've been meaning to use for awhile. Those of you participating should expect to see some of your competition in the next week or two.

Wait.... so in case of music, only midi or original works?.... I cant use music from that movie or anime series that I like? (and own the original of course)

Most likely. I don't know exactly how enterbrain will have it set up. If possible, the winner will give us the email and we'll simply purchase the program using their email. Then the key and everything should go right to them.

OK I'm game. I really shouldn't.. have far too much other things that I need to take care of (book publications, raising my kids, and the like) But I want RMVX.. as long as it does also work on XP.

Being the windows hater that I am (i prefer linux :P) I don't want to have to upgrade my XP partition just for this game. But if I am correct.. I read that it is compatible with XP as wellas Vista...


Well excuse my rambling. Just assume that I am going to give this a try.

I guess I'll be in to. 2 months is plenty of time for a short game, and I have nothing to do until Feb (Read: Until Brawl comes out) anyway.

I don't want to do this since it's very likely that most of them won't finish, especially when it's this early it's hard to say who will stay in and who won't. When it gets down to the end I might do something, though.

My game is 10 minutes far. Oh and I got a very important question!

Does side-story/quests count as the ''4 hour long goal''? I Mean my game is going to get ALOT of side-quests/stories to keep it up while on the main quest

if you did not understand that, then I'm going to explain:
If I have a side quest that takes 20 minutes to complete, and my whole game takes 3 hours and 40 minutes to complete, (just a example), will the 20 minutes then be added to the ''3 hours and 40 minutes''? Which will result in 4 hours of course.
(Sorry for bad my english xD)

EDIT: Actually I got 1 more question too!
Can I post my complete/almost complete game in the ''Projects in development'' thread? It is just so people can have fun playing it + reporting bugs or stuff
