On the edges of the wall, there's a tile that has a black bar along the left or right side. Kinda hard to explain, but it looks like there's an end to the wall and looks better =P
so i need to fix the sleeper necks, and figure out how to stop the sleepers from looking at me when i talk to them. they roll over and turn into a completely different character!
Whoah. Just, whoah. Your mapping has improved a near-ludicrous amount. If you keep learning at this rate, your game's going to turn out very, very well! Keep it up!
As for the sleeper necks, the problem is that by increasing the priority of that part of the bed, you've increased all of it -- meaning the tail end of the pillow, too. First off, change the priority of the bed itself back to 0. There should be a blanket somewhere nearby the bed itself. Originally I mistook it for a backwards view of the bed, but it's really a new blanket layer. You increase the priority of THAT blanket tile, and layer it above the bed itself, and the characters will fit under the blanket nicely.
You got the houses wrong. Don't use the dark wall tile.
Your trees are a bit misplaced, either make it a forest or have a few trees scattered in places.
Surround the map with a fence too, not a rectangular fence, make it bend and twist with it's other tiles, experiment a bit.
The houses need windows and again, cramp it all up a bit, make loads of houses, not all of the have to be used, just cramp it all up, people like that for some reason.
Get rid of the fences you have at the moment, they seem randomly placed. Either have short fences around the houses like small gardens or dont have them at all, also, use the path autotile to connect the houses, not in straight lines either, make it twist and such.

The man dressed in red/orange with his clones everywhere is just there to get screenshots, ignore him.
It's great to see someone improving, and people helping people, rather than the prats in the 1st one or two pages of this post.
The village isnt bad, it just needs details. Windows, weeds, plants, and something to fill up the emptiness really (like the trees at the bottom of the map). Xilef... er... dude, there's more errors on your map than on LoF's lol.
The map is pretty good, I'll give you that, but you should remove a little bit of the bushes. Not a whole bunch, just a little. Gotta have some room for NPCs to walk, the hero to astray from the path, etcetera.
Good improvement! On another note: be wary of scale. Short houses should have small interiors, larger houses could have big, open rooms. Always pay attention, otherwise you may end up having a huge house with one room measuring 5 by 3.
Get rid of those side-view roofs of the house near the upper left-hand corner. Also, I suggest redoing that topmost house on your map. The chimney is placed to high and the the roof doesn't extend long enough.
@Xilef: Tell me you did not use a screen from Battle World to give an example to one who is learning to map. :/
