Oh yes, do you know of any battle report scripts which would be compatible? I havent tried any yet I was just wondering if you had an idea of one.

Hehe, the options are commented they shouldn't give you that much trouble

I really wouldn't know, there is Raz's Battle Report script (which I believe was an edit of illustrationisms), there is my own Lufia Styled Battle Report that I updated just a few days ago. I don't know about others. But well if they do give you a problem I will see about merging the two for you (depends on the other script though...)

I think Ill use the Lufia one. Its probably the best one for this seeing how...I dont know how to make Raziels transition into the battle report. =/

T_T I got an error. It comes up after I save and then try to go into battle after loading that save. Even when I goto the menu it occurs.

I dont really know any way to fix it. Ive tried re-replacing the script but that didnt work either. It works fine in the demo...>_>

Seph's Party Changer, Seph's Advance Movement Script, Dubealex's Advance Message script, Ccoa's advance Weather system, SDK, you and sephs MACL, and then others which wouldnt possibly alter this script.

Well I got my error fixed, only to run into one more. T_T Hopefully this will be one of the last times I annoy you with my error problems. Now whenever I load a game and then go to the menu, I get this error:

Like I said, this only happens when you try to view the menu after you load a game. In a new game, it works fine so...I dunno. Any help would be appreciated of course.
 
I will look into this when I have the chance, I already know all of the scripts you are using (you posted them in another thread), its possibly an incompatibility issue between scripts

Well I deleted some scripts to get the load error fixed. Im pretty sure it is an incompatibility error somewhere, Ill see for myself and if I cant find the script which is causing it, Ill report it.

Well after doing some testing, I found that the script that it conflicts with is Seph's party changer. T_T Unfortunately. Ill try switching around the script to see if I can improve compatibility or not. Ill let you know.

Well it didnt work, and I shouldve known that Seph's party changer was the source seeing how both the formations and the party changer edits game_actor. Unfortunately I dont know how to fix this.

Well I fixed the problem. It seems that moving the Party changer script above the CBS made another error which was fixed by deleting Dube's AMS. So FOR NOW, it works fine. ^_^
 
Now you say that you can convert Minkoffs style of battlers correct? Well I was wondering if you can set the number of frames for each pose. For example (the victory pose would be set to 8 frames instead of the default 4.)
 
man seph.....i wish i could script like this... lol then i'd be invinsible....i like this script... this is going in my "bingo book" for sure hehe
 
Why don't you try using the username who posted the script thats the first rule you know

@All - If you are going to use this script I'd suggest you wait for my rewrite of this script, it may be done later this month or sometime next month whenever I get to it
 
Sorry to bump such an old topic but Its an amazing CBS.

Problem: I have a large map between towns and when I win a battle the map is scrolled somewhere else so I can't see where I am going... Any thoughts?

Oh, and how to edit the battle status like Kaze did ion page 5.

That is a common misconception about this battle system, in the demo for the current version Hold Shift to show the battle status

Actually here I'll point you to the stuff you have to change

Other misconceptions
--------------------
You can choose to have the battle status shown in battle
You can use any battler template you want
You DON'T have to use charactersets
You can have as many frames as you want for a pose
You can have spritesheets or individual files


Still working on the new version of this It will be out in a few weeks after I am done with college.
 
just wanted to know if your still working on this? also the demo isnt on your box.net site unless its under a different name instead of multi view cbs?
 
Ok I have added it, just a note though It may be unstable It's in my signature next to my threat you can't miss it.

But note as soon as 2.0 comes out I will no longer support the older version as I do will all of my other scripts

I will leave this topic open for suggestions on the new version 2.0 to see some of the things that will be included see the demo.

and 2.0 will be available as soon as I have my example battlers finished *pokes Atnas* (hopefully next week)
 
woo cant wait for the next version, i dont remember this version having it (or i just didnt know how to do it) so being able to switch the views in game would be great. Also, if you can make it so when you use the battle map if it was compatible with the new mode07 script

EDIT: I know exactly where it scrolls now, the top left, as far as it can
