Since we haven't hired any new mods in a while, we decided to open applications. If you want to be a mod, you should meet the following criteria:

• Be even-tempered, impartial, and professional when arbitrating disputes or disciplining users.
• Regularly make good posts in the forum(s) you want to moderate.
• Have been active on the site for a while.
• Be able to improve the site in some way.

The boards are generally well behaved, so we're looking for leaders and ideas people more than janitors. You can volunteer to mod whatever boards you want, but we're especially interested in someone who wants to work with the projects forums.

PM your application to me. Do not post it here! We'll be discussing all the applications amongst ourselves in private.
