Menu script

Okay guys, get your head round this one.

Im struggling to make a menu.
All I want for my menu system is a save/load, an inventory and an end game option, however this game has a single actor (as opposed to a party) and doesn't have any sort of stats (its a horror adventure game with an insta-death mechanic so no need for stats).

so generally I want to be able to press esc (or x) and get a window with the 3 options on it (nothing more), the 3 options need to be...

1. Inventory. doesn't need to be any different from the default

2. Save game. I want a save/load that shows a face, save number, time played, location and number of times completed (variable) but needs to look a bit more like it is designed for 1 actor as opposed to having shed loads of space in the middle.

3. Quit/Load. brings up another window with a save or load option... simple enough.

Im not the greatest scripter and I have looked everywhere for a script for this but everything Ive found is party based or just down right awefull looking and doesnt suit a single actor horror game, so if someone could help me with this I would be very grateful.

Someone please help.

You should break up your script request into chunks as each change is pretty separate from each other.

Also, you want two Save/Load options? You want 2. to be Save/Load that shows a face and 3. a Quit/Load that gives you the option to Save/Load? Menu flow control problem here.

Can you resolve that problem to make it easier for people to create what you want? It could be possible to do this with events too.
