Il fatto e' che questi...poteri...non giungono a caso. Uno deve averli sempre avuti, per poterli mostrare. Se non hai talento da invocatore, non sarai un invocatore. Se non ha talento da mago, non lo diventerai. Queste capacita' vivono da sempre nel tuo corpo: magari senza il modo di sfruttarle, o senza la presenza dell'energia che le anima.
Uno spadaccino nato potrebbe essere cresciuto...che so, al Polo Nord...e non aver percio' mai tenuto una spada in mano. O una persona potrebbe essere invocatore in un mondo senza magia...il che bloccherebbe ovviamente il suo potere.
E' una questione di fortuna, suppongo.

The fact is that these...powers...don't appear casually. One must have always had them, for being able to show them. If you don't have evoker talent, you won't be an evoker. If you don't have wizard talent, you won't become it. These abilities live from always in your body: even without the way to take advantage of them, or without the presence of the energy that animates them.
A born skilled swordsman could have grown... let's say, in North Pole...and therefore have never held one sword in hand. Or a person could be an evoker in a world without magic...that would obviously block up its power.
It's a matter of luck, I suppose.

Stefano is a liceal student. He's 17, he isn't so bad at school nor a genius. A boy as many others. Things change one night, when he dreams an other him who warn him to prepare to "something".The "something" arrives even too early: that same morning, while he is exiting to go to school, the ground opens under his feet in front of the dismayed friend Andrea,and all his certainties begin to crumble...In fact, when he awakens, he is immersed in snow...in July!
The last scrap of assurance fall when, trying to reach a city seen a little earlier, he is attacked by two things which he "can call Imps, if Imps really existed!"
He is sceptical in the beginning, but that world, so similar, TOO MUCH similar to the ones he loved reading about, will in the end overwhelm him, costraining him to face reality: he is not at home anymore, and it's uncertain if he can, one day, return...

Yes, maybe you will be imprisoned, tortured, or used as slave, but you will be able to take your revenge later....Obviously, if you win at first shot, you will have some advantages, as more esperience, rare objects and so on.
