Make sure that:

a. You aren't running a firewall that is blocking mIRC or port 6667 outbound.
b. Confirm that you are actually connecting to irc.slacked.org:6667

If you are still having issues, fire an email at admin[at]slacked.org explaining your situation.

A notice: osprey.* has been experiencing some downtime over the last few nights. Something's fucked up with the box it's on. Hopefully everything will be sorted out in the next few days. In the meantime, if osprey seems to be lagging or about to collapse, switch over to falcon~

oh yeah i put that on because we keep getting UNIDENTIFIED SPAMMING LOSERS but i am about to go crazy on them so it is unnecessary. try now!

also hey guys we're getting a new server pretty soon - raven.il.us.slacked.org - courtesy of kav! thanks, kav! falcon will start doubling as a backup hub and a client server instead of just a client server pretty soon too, and we're hoping that'll cut down on the netsplits we've been experiencing lately. exciting!

ALSO, slacked has two new staff members - Kav and Wulf (not DerVVulfman)! Kav will be running raven, as i mentioned before (though most of the work will probably fall on shadow and jamie as usual and kav will probably just pay the bills and enjoy the power) and Wulf is on as tech support to keep the war machine moving.

Channel must have mode +r (registered nicks only) on.

Try registering your nickname first using /nickserv register <password> <email>, then joining again.

Edit: should be okay to join now, registered or not

Apparently, I've been de-opped. For what reason and if you are going to demote people the least you could do is make them aware of it. A PM or something would have been nice.

A lot of people have been de-opped in the staff reorganization, it wasn't a personal thing. You've been away for a while and missed out on the big stuff where we talked about it with people (only moderators are opped, there's not a special irc ops group etc). We probably should have told you first (sorry or w/e) but it was going to happen either way.

I tried to log into #RMXP and it said Username in use, so i used YivynA, I come on and in the Topic message its like -Fuck Sakari, Fuck Yivyn, Fuck Luminier.
