busbuzz thank you for making a titlescreen i really like it. and just so you know i have been look for piece of backgrounds to make a better looking one with a better atmosphere "bloody background" without having it too bloody.

I have been tweaking the font that I have a bit. The reason why i like the font that I have is becuase it looks almost scribbled in. I really like the texture that you threw onto the font you have, is it a preloaded texture?

I think i like the way that Axerax explained the titlescreen she has, the fact that it is more subtle doesn't necessarily detract etc.

i think that that is the way that I am trying to go with my title screen

no offense to you titlescreen or anything busbuzz but its a different theme =/

I made the texture myself with a modified picture, the blood is a combination of brushes and vectors traced by me, the font is 321 impact

and btw i think axerax is a he and not a she  :tongue:

Maybe if you tell me the concept of your game i can do something better if dark, night bloody doesnt fit the concept

i like dark but idk if i like bloody, as in a bloody mess you had on the last one (lol jk) but

the theme I have for my game is i'm trying not to have it too in the future. i'm thinking i have the time period set more in the colonial days.

i want there to be like a rifle, and first aid kits but thats it for newer technology.

is that kinda what you mean?

Well the concept of your game is far more complicated than i expected since i dont know the background its going to be in, like in farms or houses, and i should know the story for that and make a concept title screen.

instead i decided to just leave the night as concept more than street blood as i thought it was

They are pretty good, however, I think white doesn't fits right to this kind of font.
I think you should do it white with some red, like if there was blood on it.

ya what i was thinking was change it to black without the embossed and have a red outline of something, thinking splattered but idk if it would be what i was looking for

Everyone uses blood streaks or really hard lines for horror games. Look at F.E.A.R. They use a very solid font, but that game is very graphically horiffying and look at Condemned/2 They use a "destroyed" font style it gives more of a knitty gritty feel of surviving as opposed to seeing bloodshed from the title on.

@axerax: ya i understand what you mean by not solid, like i like the font on yours i guess becuase of the "knitty gritty feel" but its a little too pixely to me

lol i think its that "knitty gritty feel" without going overboard that i like, also the reason why i like that font i found. the reason i like it more is because i am not trying to make my game a complete horror but it is zombie/surviving or deadly should i say.
