HBGames
I was thinking about this because i used RMXP for 6~7 years and i am pretty much aware of it,
and has skills based on it. So i decided to find out whether if i can make some cash from it or not,
So i posted my price sheets for my resources on local RM forum. But Game Development is not going
so well on this country and people don't really like spending their money for buying resources,
( Since they can't really get something from it either.. )
and people tells me to lower prices while i think it's cheap enough already.
So, I was thinking, how about here on HBgames? Would you stop to buy some?
Well, i want to promote my skills and train myself, But just making money as my motivation.
( Since i already made about $100 from selling some of my arts. )
1. I am not perfect, So if i can't do what you're asking then i'll say no.
Therefore, I will take payment after i make some progress.
2. You cannot distribute the resources you bought for any reason.
Only use it for your own project. Otherwise, You're responsible of all consequences.
3. You'll have to pay in 7 days after i request payment.
If you fail to pay without proper reason you'll lose your authority upon your
resource and you'll not be able to buy it again,
and following resource will be kept - to sold or destroyed later.
4. I am making stocks of resources, which can be bought at solid prices.
Buying from stock might be cheaper, and also you're getting resource fast.
( Stock is not ready, But it will be prepared and will be ready soon. )
5. Payment is done by Paypal.
So here are my prices for now :
2013 - 12 - 24 : Another Change in Prices.
Previous Works
I'll be paid with about $20 ( 25,000 KRW) in 14 hours.. Though, price was not pleasantly consulted.
( Considering the work hours, it should have been around $35 ~ $40. )
What i did is making Title screen and Ingame Menu from NOTHING.
Title screen has firework effects on the background, and has 3-slot load screen overlay
with menu to open developer's website.
In-Game Menu consists of Inventory, Save, and Exit since the game is
horror/drama, which won't need detailed stuff. Simplicity was the key.
In inventory items can be used in way it's originally in RMXP, except it doesn't
display the how many numbers of items party have. ( Since it was not necessary )
Save Screen is same 3-slot layout as it is in title load screen.
Each slot displays Saved Time, Playing time, and Last location.
End screen has only Yes / No for now, but it can be fixed.
Title Screen
Firework effect on action.
Load Screen which is displayed right over the title screen.
Menu Screen
Inventory Screen. Item number is not displayed since it is not necessary.
Save Screen, offers 3 slots.
End Game Screen. Yes / No selection.
Scripts Minimum Price is $10
Price will differ by the complexity of the script and total work hours.
So more complex and work-demanding script is, the more price increases. Work Hours : ~ 5 hrs is on Minimum Price, +1$ per extra hour. Complexity : Easy ( x 1.0 ) / Normal ( x 1.2 ) / Hard ( x 1.5 )
Easy : Scripts that only requires basic level of understanding RGSS.
Normal : Scripts that requires skills on RGSS and RM overall system.
Hard : Scripts that requires advanced skills, and even accessing or modifying pre-existing modules and classes.
Particle System 285 Lines of Code
Particle system for RMXP but also could be fitted for other tools.
Particles Data is stored in hash, And called by ID which can be both string or integer. Functions :
Built-In Particle Antilag system

Custom Title Screen 1201 Lines of Code (Incomplete)
Custom Title script that was being made for my own project. It remained incomplete,
But it was far more than original title script. Functions (That was functional) :
Player Profile Data Function
Save Files that saved in different folders - Following to player profile
Save Files that includes thumbnail, Which can be viewed in both load / save screen
Categorized and Animated Menus
Animated Title Background Functions (That was incomplete) :
Access to collectibles / achievements saved in profile data
Game Configurations
Light System 205 Lines of Code (+WF-BitmapEX, +Time System)
Static Light system, But could be turned into Dynamic Light System.
( But dynamic light with RGSS1 has a lot of performance down and is not recommended.
I tried my best to tweak the performance, But there's limits. ) Functions :
Static Light System that can be linked with Time
Tone alternation
Can be Static / Dynamic
Lights can be positioned both with event / hash
