in retrospect it's very similar to moxie's! i was thinking grand sky adventures as well except mine's a kid in a zeppelin who is not very well drawn or coloured wow!

not the most solid piece of art in comparison to moe's or dev's but i tried to convey the light, cheery mood from the song :robot:

Ok, so mine seems very different from everyone else's. Though Regi's awesome robot dance party might be kind of similar!

The tune gave me a strong retro-game vibe, mixed up with modern techno. I also got a sense of speed from the music, and a LOT of positive energy! The retro-game mixed with modern techno should be obvious enough to see. The sense of speed portrayed by the awesome-cycle, and the positive energy portrayed by the level-up and the sky-high point counter. Hopefully the spiral track pulls you in.

This was really fun. I've been doing so much fantasy artwork for my hand-painted game, that getting a chance to paint something this crazy has been uplifting! Thanks Bacon! :heart:

hey guys, don't restrain yourself just because you think you can't beat someone.

who cares just enter and have fun! it's not really a contest of skill anyway, just seeing who can come up with the most vivid image based on the music and stuff. I'm not officially entering anyway, I just wanted to participate!

if you don't draw, you can never improve! it never hurts to give it a try!

definitely. everybody's got some really neat stuff going on and the only way to "lose" is by not doing anything at all when you have the time/means/creativity to do it.

i know this is kinda big, but i had alot i wanted to put into it, plus i wanted the bottom readable.

Edit: this is how it relates to the song: i was listening to it over and over, staring at the photoshop screen, thinking of what to draw. some how i started thinking Scott pilgrim vs the world, and im like ya this song does relate. so i searched for some motivation via google. the more i listened to the song, the more i wanted to add because basically the song reminds me of classic video games. then next thing i know im on an adventure where all my favorite games are battling(king of the hill style) to control photoshop. meanwhile a portal to toon town opens, sucking donkey kong into another dimension. and ya, the rest is history

Of course I spot one of 1.5 contests I'd actually participate in way after the deadline :| And funnily, I didn't even listen to the song (since I'm at work), but I got some tunes in my head fitting the pictures posted... I wonder if there should be a "compose music fitting the picture given" context for the musicians among ya... XD

Other than that... all of the submitted pictures are pretty well compared to what I would've imagined after the non-restrictive rules really... there's a lot of stuff I like equally, so yeah... keep up the fun work, everyone! :thumb:
