Felt Like Sharing a Sad Story

I didn't knew about that story, and it's surely sad and all that, but being no female, I feel free to put some realism in:
He could've just drive until the fuel is out or dteer hard to a side in order to survive, but crashing into a wall was by far the badest choice ...
Haha, I agree. I'm sure he could've chosen something better than a wall. Where was he driving anyways? Like, what the hell. Haha.[/FONT]

Yes guys, let's pull apart every little story that has a message to it!

Warning! Contains indecent language!
Cinderella...she could've snuck out to that bloody ball, but she didn't because she was scared that her bitch of a stepmother might beat her with a brass spoon...instead she just waited for her fairy godmother (probably a hooker) to 'miraculously' appear and turn her into a shallow slut...only then did she have the courage to go against her stepmother's rule OBVIOUSLY because her stepmother is ugly and go to the ball/orgy....

Guys how stupid does that sound? VERY stupid. And that's how this thread is starting to sound...

..but then again, I did have fun writing that little analogy...

But you're proving my point ;) Cinderella was made up completely, to prove the point that people shouldn't treat others like they treated her, blah blah blah; but created to prove a point. As was this. It was MADE UP to try to prove something. I just think it did a crappy job at proving it.

It's obvious this story was made up! You have all established ON NUMEROUS OCASSIONS!!! All I'm saying is try to see the message. That's it. There's no need to rubbish the story...STORY!...just because it sounds a little fabricated. Believe it or not, you probably learnt a few things from those COMPLETELY UNTRUE fairytales but you never said to dad, "...but why did the frog turn into a prince when that ugly mole kissed it? THAT IS SO UNTRUE LOLZ ZOMG," (ok, definitely wouldn't say that to dad...) instead, you let it fly and took the message. So let it be. Take the message and just let...the story...be...nuff said from me.

My point is that they even did a crappy job of portraying the message. That's not romantic at all. (a) He didn't tell her that they were basically screwed... a lot of people like to know when their life is in danger (b) It suggests that killing himself and most likely injuring his girlfriend/wife/whatever was more romantic than thinking properly and avoiding the whole issue altogether (c) Yayy protect your loved ones except he was driving so if anything happened to him, there's NO chance of him being able to steer them to safety (d) He was too busy telling her what to do that he couldn't focus on umm... saving their lives (e) He realized that his brakes didn't work and did nothing to save them both...

I could go on for quite some time. Point is, if you're gonna try to teach a lesson, teach it right. These are terrible lessons to teach.

"Let passengers in your vehicle distract you, imparing your driving"

"If your vehicle has difficulty, driving into barriers will slow you down"

"Getting a hug is more important than your life and the safety of others"

"Never tell people when they're in danger"

"Never try to get assistance when you're in danger"

It also teaches a bit of sexism. He's the male, he's gotta handle the situation himself... but noooo she's just a little vulnerable female, she needs the helmet. And don't tell her about the problem because her opinion isn't valued and she'll just end up panicking and making it worse.

Wonderful lessons it teaches.

So yeah it may teach that you should love your... loved ones, but it also teaches those other things... in a morbid way! Wonderful story this is! :D

I agree totally.

[A tear slowly drops down from my face] I was so moved by this, just fucking around. Anywho I think that this story is terrible in a way but it serves it's purpose so there is no need to critisise it's bad points but instead get of your computer and embrace your nearest loved one saying If I die tomorrow you know I love you.
