The inconsistency in the face graphics is irritating. I suggest sticking to one style, lest you ruin the games graphical presentation.

Mmmm i think people is joking with you trying to change continuosly the hero's name. :D
Just a thing on the story.
Dark and Light are clich?s.... I'd avoid 'em.
I'd try the same trick of the soul-stealing and life-locking etc. with just real world and "another dimension".
A lot of religions and cults promise that there is a better world after this one.... they want to steal your soul!! It'd be funny if the main responsible is an evil cult that pretends to be good.
But please, these're suggestione, don't change all your proj just cause somenone says somethin'.

The world had been separated in two dimensions, the holy and the exla world... the people who lived in the holy world went to the dark world because they were tricked by the exla creatures that they could have better lives, but everything went wrong... all their souls were stolen and their lifeless bodies locked away forever... the mages who lived in the mountains, could not stop the evil who ruled the dark world... since that happened no one could ever find them .... Raiju was a lancer, he was the general of the military, the general military tried stop the ruler of the dark world, but they all perished... no one could find Raiju again... he was trapped forever in the Forbidden Dark Forest...
A man called Danial, a swordsman, was young when evil took over the world, and when the Portal of Death had been opened the Dark Eternal could never be stopped... The curse had taken his dad, and now he is the leader of the evil army... Danial is now 18 years of age, ... his best friend is Sekorra and his adoptive father is Maris, who teaches him sword fighting skills...
On the way to Silvenpass you will meet the Raine, the beautiful girl, nice looking, but she is a thief... Silvenpass is a big beautiful Forest at exit of forest she stole all your GIL (That is the money in game) And you have to catch her... when you found here... You fight and if you won, she give back you GIL, and joins you in the journey... and she fancy you a lot...
