Apparently, a member of RRR Antiferea was banned.

He most likely deserved it? hell from what i've seen of antiferea he's a super douche so

I have nothing against .org and I respect both sites so I want to try to stop any problems immediately, but I use the same all purpose password for all the forums I frequent and when I went to log in just now it had been changed and I had to click "Forgot Password" to reset it.

I doubt this is indicative of MALICIOUS ACTIONS FROM THE .ORG STAFF if they wanted you gone they wouldn't dick around with your password they'd just ban you

I'm not saying it was malicsiously by you. You may not have wanted to cause trouble as well as several other people but someone is actively seeking trouble with RRR, and perhaps just perhaps it may be a member of your staff.

Like Disso said, if the mods wanted to get rid of someone, they'd ban them, not mess with their account info (Password etc.)

Dark Gaia please refer yourself to my post. When using the password retrieval function, a new password is sent to your email. this new password always consists of a jumble of random characters. so instead of blaming us for changing your password, perhaps you should blame yourself for not having the foresight to write down your password.

They have admitted that they are from RRR. I could probably get some IRC logs to prove it with the permission of my superiors.

Antifarea isn't banned. The banlist was cleared when we switched to phpBB3, and if he was banned prior to that, it was for an unrelated reason.

As for your password, Dark_Gaia, that might be related to something fucking up in the phpBB3 switch, but as Diss said, if we wanted you gone, we would've banned you, not messed around with your password. You'll have to ask an admin about it, though.

the only reason you see a forum war on the horizon is because that's what you want to see. when people from .org raise concerns about the way your staff operate, that's all it is. this guy who says we banned him for being from rrr, at least tell us who you're talking about so we know what to think.

stop seeing mister scratch in every dark corner and maybe take things at face value. one thing I've noticed lately is that frankly, the rrr staff seem paranoid about everything.

Okay, let's let that slide for now. Antiferea attests he was banned, but I see that he is not listed as banned so I will let that go. I'm sorry for any adversity this has caused, but I am trying really hard along with Ariel to smooth over any problems quickly so that we can both go back to what our forums are about: making games.

I will admit that perhaps some members of RRR might be acting independantly in response, but I know nothing about this. All I know is what I have seen on the IRC and forums with .org members deliberately trolling and causing trouble.

There are many people active in both communities.

"edited by" line is from smf, edits under phpbb3 aren't listed in the post itself unless reason is given.

could you explain what you mean by trolling? I've seen it applied to just about everything on rrr, and to my knowledge, aside from the sumaiya incident, no one from .org has trolled #rrr, and absolutely none of it has happened with the official sanction of the site.

this is a forum. the people here are members, not soldiers. they move on their own steam. if I up and said HEY GUYS LET'S BOMB RRR no one would go along with me anyway.

And how is it that this is not a possibility for us? .org does not have any sort of official rule saying "RRR SUCKS DONGS TROLL THEM AS U LIKE", so any trolling done by our members is done by them as an individual, not them as the offical .org representative.
