I really like the idea, though I am 99% sure that the plural of Digimon is still Digimon. Otherwise everything looks good so far.

How will the evolution work? Will it be with EXP, how well the DigiMon was raised or how many days you have had it? Or even all of that!
I was thinking, for example, after 3 days of having agumon it evolves into greymon only if it was raised well and it's experiance was full, else you have to wait another 3 days and if it still doesnt meet the requirements the digimon dies early.

@Xielf: The evolution is only by EXP. The Digivolution for Champion, Ultimate and Mega is by advancing to a certain level and learning the skill "Digivolution" and using it will make you'r Digimon advance in the Digivolution line. If the Digimon is run out of SP hes gonna go back to the Rookie form. Digivolving from In-Training to Rookie is done by itself from geting to level 5.

About the Fressh and Eggs I'll think of a system later :P

I'd love to see a good Digimon game for once in my life (even the official games suck). Digimon wasn't nearly as important in my childhood as Pokemon was, but Digimon was up there with Barney and Sesame Street.

The nudist character set looks pretty good, beside the lack of...you know, clothing. Unfortunately, the tile set just doesn't match. You can create a pretty cool environment with a similar tile set. You know, one that makes you feel like you're in the DIGITAL WORLD.

Also, don't pit Digimon against generic RTP monsters. Why? Because they're generic RTP monsters, which is fine, except this is a DIGIMON game.

I agree, most Digimon games do suck and so do some of the official ones, Digimon World 1 was the best in my opinion. So make this good!

I hope this one is good. Digimon world 1 suck but Digimon world 3 is the best becuase is rpg and is just alot better like the plot and story.

You know, I'm pretty sure I heard 'Digimons' being tossed around in one of the seasons. I've been rewatching them online lately, but I can't remember exactly where, but I'm sure I heard it.
It does sound weird, but when you think that it's a shortened version of Digital Monsters, monsters has an 's' so it makes some sense. I'm still not sure of it officially however, since even the shows are not the end-all-be-all of Digimon information.
