Yep, the same applies for Koen Marek, I guess the only difference is that people telepathically knew that they shouldn't vote for mine... :P

I'm not going to vote as I don't know any of the characters enough for it to be a valid vote.

As much as I like Serren's description, I'd have to agree with this. I think in the future, character noms should be reserved only for full-length demos, completed games, and installments (like MotW). Still, Serren's already in the running this time so there's no use arguing it now.

True point, I'd actually feel bad if I got votes for a character that only has a description and basic history, I'd kinda feel like the votes were more for me and less for my character.

I wish I knew more about Sparrow, since he seems to have quite a, um, weird following, but Cade Mistral is the only one I know well enough to vote for. Even if he does seem a little too standardly heroic, he's a very strong character, and can turn that cliched role into his own style of morals.

I actually think it's because he's gay, and it's mentioned in the description. People say "holy lol original" and vote for that. Which sucks because I don't want him to be popular until there's a reason for it.

So I say that even if Serren wins, I will not allow my character to have an article in the e-zine or whatever. He's drawing out, give it to the second-place winner who would deserve it.

I'm glad Sparrow has caught on, but I can't help but see him as Ralph Nader to Cade's Al Gore.

Well, maybe that doesn't work....after all, if Serren was Bush, there would be some obvious conflicts.
