lol my main char does not use a sword.. (its a female) also in mine you are the enemy (witch you dont know at first) also I have added a whole new element into the game. sooo I think it needs a little more....

sorry just been reading up... I would pay for RMXP games. I dont think there is anything wrong with it. If people did not pay for games we would still be playing pong and pac man!

Pretty much everything story-related. The hero's relationship status, his views of the world, his connections with the villains, even his personality is pretty weird, as is that of some of his friends (not listed).
It's no surprise you don't know this; they're all secret. My game is practically like an already-existing manga or anime turned into a game - plenty of drama.

Note: Still looking for devoted, full-time pixel artists. I've decided to raise the total payment for pixel artists to 30%. That's $3 per copy.

Something about the story bugs me a little. If the human population has been severely tempered with by the harmful demons for almost two thousand years starting at BC, I'd think that it would have an immense effect on the turn of events of the world. Yet, you mentioned the WWII happening at (apparently) the same time as it happened in this world. Of course, nothing is really wrong with that since anything is possible; but it just felt a little awkward reading that. Good luck with the project's progress.

I wanted the story to take place in 1950, and WWII occuring at the same time as it did made a reason for the Gladiators to be publicized and to orphan Auche reasonably.

And in case it isn't obvious enough, the humans lose. >o<

But yes, the demons' existence more or less takes the place of whatever bad thing may have happened in the world. For example, instead of the Huns attacking China, it would be demons. Demons are capable of planning and strategizing in this game.

Okay, just a quick question:

7 years ago, I began the creation of APOCALYPSE, though it has changed 100% since then. The story has been in progress for 7 years, and it gets deeper the more I write.

January 2006, I began writing the story in novel form. It's taken an inexcusably long time, but I finished writing the first third of it, which is how much of the game I'm including in the demo. I'm currently in the process of typing it up.

My question is... If I post the novel version of what will be in the demo, allowing you all to see just how deep the story goes, do you think it will attract more recruits?

Without any pixel artists, the game is doomed to be a text adventure. No matter how much I offer, no one wants to make the graphics, or even help with them.

I almost failed the 12th Grade by a hair because I was desperately working on the statistics of this game, but if no one will help, all that work will have been for naught.

Ouch. :/ But just a bit of personal advice; try not to put your life on the line for RMXP projects at early stage. Start with RTP and as such if you want, and perhaps editing some of it yourself, to show some potential. While you might get some recruits by posting the story, most of the decent artists probably have better thing to do than committing to any random projects.
