This seems like it could be a good project. You can tell that a lot of thought has been put into this. When the demo comes out i'd like to give it a try. The story sounds like an old movie I seen called the philidelphia experiment, it was a good movie. Good luck with this.

The Gladiators are the descendents of an ancient Roman. The "Gladiators" corresponds to their genial history. Besides, since the story's history is about Rome, it seemed appropriate. I'm even using the "Times New Roman" font. ^_^

This is an interesting project, and like I said before, if you still need or want a spriter when I start learning more, then I'd be glad to be of help.

I would sugest work a lil bit more on the character's drawings, the structure lines need work, i really like this game, the looks but if u want 20 bux per copy it needs some work

Unfortunately for ME, the only person that can test the full version is myself. Everyone is welcome to test the free demo, though. :thumb:

I haven't bumped this in over a month, so I'm finally getting around to it.

I just want everyone to know that I've been really busy with school and all, and that I haven't given up on this project. I'm still looking for artists, especially spriters, so any help is much appreciated!

Dude, with all respect, even if your game is extremely good, I would not even pay 5 cents to buy it . Apart from that, I like the screenshots and the story looks interesting

it's not about the quality level, it is a principle, I personally would not pay to play a rpgmaker game, even if it was amazing. As far as I can tell yours looks good, don't get me wrong.

Anyways,

I'm guessing WW2 is not the same as the one we had in real life? Were there demons during this war? Who is the war between? Humans VS Demons?

And I see you used the top 3 clishes(spell?). Orphan, Jewels(aka Crystals), and a dream! No worries though, it doesn't mean the game is going to be bad.

Well, obviously you do, if you bothered to respond..there is no need to be rude, I only expressed my opinion, and didn't offend anyone, nor encouraged people to not buy the game eventually. Anyway sephiroth, keep up the good job!

just asking not to flame but what scientists uses a sytche but i suppose that this is your game and can be real or fictional .... once again just saying.also i likes this one not sure if ill be playin it tho

I prefer to try and be as original as possible. The main character himself is pretty original. I mean, he DOESN'T use a sword for starters, AND he's TECHNICALLY the story's villain, since he's the one that wants to destroy the world.

Besides, Apo is a Roman Scientist, so guns are out of the question. I've always found guns to be cheating, anyway. And I think a scythe suits him very well, actually.

I actually read the entire list of RPG Cliches, and I'm proud to say that none of my characters fit their descriptions.

Oh, and yes, this story's WW2 was between humans and demons. Auche's mother was a demoness, and she was killed in the war, even though she wasn't even part of it. The world is just exiting an age of intense prejudice, but now, some demons live together with humans. Auche himself, as described before, is half-demon, so a lot of that prejudice goes toward him, and vice versa.

Uhhh... I don't HAVE Photoshop. I wish I did, though. The title screen was designed by Kraft.
